February 2013 Horoscope

June 2013 Monthly Horoscope -- Aries

Your relationship rulers both change signs at the start of the month: Mars moves into Pisces and Venus moves into Aquarius. As a result you’ll be shifting gears in your relationship – whether you’re prepared for it or not. If you’re not currently involved, you can expect someone new and “different” to make an appearance. Someone who’s the antithesis of your usual “type” and who can bring a whole new perspective to your relationship landscape. If you’re already involved, you’re likely to see changes in your partner that you’ll have to deal with. A series of transits between the 8th and the 13th bring conflicts to the forefront, but also provide you with the tools that are necessary to resolve them. The Moon in your sign on the 12th offers you a fresh start, while Venus moving into your 12th house (the sector related to self-undoing) can bring temptations into the picture that can threaten the stability of your current situation. Are you going to move forward in your relationship or decide to call it a day? The outcome is more in your hands than you know.

Moon in Aries: Feb 12, 13, 14, 15

Taurus

You start the month with the Moon in your work sector; the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars in your professional sector; and Jupiter in your financial sector. It’s going to be (almost) all about work and making money for you this month. While Jupiter has been moving through your money sector since this past June, it’s been retrograde (moving backwards) for the past four months, meaning that you’ve probably made very little progress in this area. You’ve either been spending money as quickly as it comes in, paying off old debts, or incurring unexpected expenses for the last few months. But you should start to see a shift as Jupiter changes direction and gains momentum over the next several months. In the meantime your ruler (Venus) changes signs twice this month: it moves into Aquarius (and your 10th house) on the 1st and then into Pisces (and your 11th house) on the 25th. You’d do well to focus on career, reputation and public standing in the early part of the month, saving all your carousing, socializing and gallivanting for the latter part.

Moon in Taurus: Feb 15, 16 and 17

Gemini

Things should be on the up-swing for you this month with several planets either in or moving up toward your Midheaven. This is a prominent sector related to career, reputation, public standing and “fame.” It’s the area you both aspire to and receive recognition for, so you’ll want to be on your toes. Your ruler (Mercury) moves in on the 5th, joining Mars, Neptune and Chiron, with the Sun and Venus not far behind. These are “idea” transits: if you’ve been thinking of starting a new project, sending out resumes, or polishing your professional image, this is the time to do it. You’ll be shifting gears in the romance department too, with Jupiter now moving forward through your sign. Problems get ironed out under this transit, with little or no effort on your part. More defined plans start to take shape, in the “where do we go from here?” vein. You’ll need to get that figured out before the 23rd when Mercury goes retrograde. At that point, you’d do well to suspend all major decisions and to focus instead on what you’ve already accomplished.

Moon in Gemini: Feb 17, 18, 19, 20

Cancer

You may be feeling more vulnerable this month than usual, with several planets moving through both your 8th and 12th houses. These are very intimate and personal areas that tend to be hidden from the public eye. But this doesn’t mean nothing’s happening: there are intense psychological changes going on behind the scenes whether others are aware of them or not. Your intuition is particularly heightened between the 4th through the 6th, so pay attention to your dreams during this time. These transits can take a lot out of you as they heighten sensitivity and can have you feeling like running for cover. But they also strengthen your connections to those you’re emotionally in sync with. Your relationship ruler (Saturn) goes retrograde in your romance sector on the 18th, in mutual reception with Pluto, which is now moving through your relationship sector. Relationships can take on a heavier, “all-or-nothing” vibration during this time. The Moon moves into your sign on the 20th, trining the Sun and Neptune. A long-distance interlude or romantic getaway may be just what the doctor ordered.

Moon in Cancer: Feb 20, 21, 22

June 2013 Monthly Horoscope -- Leo

Your favorite thing in the whole world – romance – is highlighted this month. With five planets moving through your social sectors and two planets moving through your sex and intimacy sector, you’ll be paying little attention to anything else. It won’t be all fun and games though: you may have to make some tough decisions about where to “put” certain people in your life. Are they friends or are they lovers? Are you going to settle in for the long haul or are you going to cut and run? Your relationship ruler (Uranus) is in mutual reception with Mars at the start of the month, indicating a relative ease in these transitions. But a square to Jupiter on the 10th and another one on the 25th brings conflicts to the forefront. You’ve been straddling the fence for months now and will have to decide where you’re going to land. You could immerse yourself in a relationship that’s evolving or disconnect from one that’s stagnating. The choice is only partially yours, so be prepared to make your case – or you could just wind up alone.

Moon in Leo: Feb 22, 23, 24, 15

June 2013 Monthly Horoscope -- Virgo

You’ve been putting so much time and effort into your work that you have little left for anything (or anyone) else. You can get a lot accomplished but also risk neglecting those who rely on you – particularly loved ones and family members. But with Jupiter in your career sector and four other planets in your work sector, you’re going to have a hard time figuring out where to trim the fat. Set aside some time over the 9th and 10th to do damage control – or you may get the cold shoulder later on. If you’re too preoccupied in the first half of the month, you’ll have to make up for it in the second half. Mercury (your ruler) goes retrograde on the 24th: watch what you say and what you “promise” after that time. The following day the Full Moon occurs in your sign, just as Venus moves into your relationship sector. By that point, with five other planets already there, you’ll be shifting your focus to love, romance and partnership. Use this time to balance your priorities and to make up for lost time.

Moon in Virgo: Feb 25, 26, 27

June 2013 Monthly Horoscope -- Libra

You start the month with the Moon in your sign and all of your personal planets moving through your romance sector. You may feel like a fish out of water in most areas but this is the one you’re the most comfortable with. This doesn’t mean your relationships will be more stable, only that they’re your primary focus. A long distance romance is a possibility, as there are more indications of phone or written communications than there are face-to-face encounters. But you’re also looking at things from a more objective perspective, so that you can make your decisions based on logic rather than instinct. This can be a very creative period for you too, as you’re inspired to express yourself through music or the arts. A conflict with a loved one takes center stage around the 11th when Venus (your ruler) squares Saturn. This can be as simple as a reality check or as far reaching as a decision to part ways. You’d be wise to hold off on any life-altering relationship decisions until the latter part of the month.

Moon in Libra:  Feb 1, 2, 27, 28

June 2013 Monthly Horoscope -- Scorpio

You’re thinking about “karma” this month as you see how everything you’ve sent out to the Universe is coming back to you with almost perfect clarity. This could be a double-edged sword: with Saturn in your sign and in mutual reception to Pluto (your ruler) now, you’ll be both learning from mistakes and reaping the rewards for your benevolence. Everything but Jupiter is below the horizon for you now, making for a period of profound introspection. You can heal old wounds from your childhood, make peace with family members and develop compassion for loved ones who may have hurt you. Past meets present when Saturn turns retrograde on the 18th, and you’ll be thinking about what (and whom) you want to retain in your life vs. what (or whom) you want to leave behind. You may end a relationship but all is not lost. By the latter part of the month, you’ll have 6 planets in your romance sector and will have to think about easing up on that hard exterior, tearing down your walls, and allowing someone new to come in.

Moon in Scorpio: Feb 2, 3, 4

Sagittarius

Things are looking up for you in the love-department this month. Jupiter (your ruling planet) is finally moving forward in your relationship sector after four months in retrograde motion. This can mean ironing out the kinks in a union that’s faltering, or it can mean bringing someone new in. If your relationship is wobbly or if you feel like you’ve been jumping through hoops just to satisfy your partner’s demands, you may need to look at whether it’s worth holding onto period. This is a positive transit, even if you have to make some uncomfortable decisions in the midst of it. This change in direction can be quite literal, and can in the end be liberating. Your relationship ruler (Mercury) goes retrograde this month, reconnecting you with someone from the past. This transit relates to unfinished business but doesn’t mean you should be hooking up with someone you had a reason for ending things with in the first place. What’s important now is whether you’re contributing to each other’s evolution as you embark on this next chapter in your life.

Moon in Sagittarius: Feb 4, 5, 6

June 2013 Horoscope: Capricorn

You’re going to be feathering your nest egg this month, when 5 planets line up your financial sector. This can take on several different forms – from making money to investing money to preserving the assets you already have. Your ruler (Saturn) is in mutual reception with Pluto, which is also in your sign. This is a powerful allegiance to begin with, and is strengthened by a harmonious aspect between them. You can expect things to flow comfortably in the early part of the month where work, business and financial security are concerned. You know what you want and how to go about getting it, but will have to loosen your standards where other people are concerned. Not everyone is as ambitious as you, nor are they as appreciative of unsolicited advice. Saturn turns retrograde on the 18th – where it will remain for the next 5 months. You might feel like you’re losing your footing during this transit, but it’s really more about restructuring your goals. Use this time to reflect on your priorities and to fine-tune your professional aspirations.

Moon in Capricorn: Feb 6, 7, 8

June 2013 Horoscope: Aquarius

You’re going to be even more persuasive this month than normal, even for you. With four planets in your sign at the beginning of the month and with your ruler in mutual reception to Mars, you’ll have quite a lot to say! You’re known for being outspoken and direct, but may have to soften your delivery – especially between the 8th and 10th. You have strong opinions and what may seem like radical ideas to others, even if they’re served with a healthy shot of reality. Your tendency to want to stir the pot can get you into trouble: you may just need to sit back and watch while others learn their lessons the hard way. Starting around the 19th, your attention shifts to business as you start getting serious about making money. You may have several irons in the fire but one in particular starts to take shape. This is where you want to focus your energy. What is it that no one else is doing or is doing as well as you could? That’s the key to your success.

Moon in Aquarius: Feb 8, 9, 10

June 2013 Horoscope: Pisces

You may feel like you’re on the outside looking in this month, with a lineup of planets all moving through your 12th house. This area relates to fears, inhibitions and insecurities, among other things. It may feel like you have one foot in the door and one foot out as you scan your environment for potential pitfalls. But you’ll find that you’re missing out on opportunities if you let your fears hold you back. Mars moves into in your sign on the 1st joining Neptune on the 4th. One by one, more planets ease into your sign: Mercury on the 5th, the Sun on the 18th and Venus on the 25th. See these as small stepping stones that you can take to work toward your goals. The spotlight shines on your love life later in the month, with your relationship ruler retrograding on the 23rd and the full Moon in that sector on the 25th. You should be taking the reins more at that point and asserting your own needs. It’s all about balancing head with heart, emotion with logic and needs with desires.
