Free Daily Tarotscope — Sept 2, 2014 — Justice

Justice

Justice

Today’s card refers to Universal justice and righteousness. Truth. Awareness. Objectivity. Honesty and Integrity.

As Mercury moves into Libra this morning, these are the concepts we’ll see seeping into the collective unconscious.

You may be weighing different options or thinking about how to bring the divergent areas of your life into balance. Or you may be dealing with a situation that calls for you to rise above your personal preferences in order to arrive at what is fair and just.

In this version of the card, we see repeated themes of balance and symmetry. The scales suspended from an invisible thread, the peacock feathers in the background, and the esoteric symbols on the corners of the card.

The peacock feathers are symbols of truth and integrity. As animal totems they signify watchfulness, protection, guidance and nobility. The scales are made of silver and gold — opposing elements — each containing a translucent orb that floats slightly above it.

A sudden gust of wind or ruffling of the peacock feathers could upset the whole contraption. This is an important feature of this card. It reminds us how precarious the concept of Justice truly is, and how important it is to keep things in balance.

The Hebrew symbol “Lamed” is in the upper left corner, the Norse rune “Naud” in the upper right, and the astrological glyph for Libra is in the lower right.

Sept 2014 Tarot Scopes featuring the Tarot of Delphi

Tarot of Delphi -- the Sun

ARIES: The Sun

This month should see you feeling a sense of satisfaction and contentment over recent accomplishments.

The Sun card is traditionally associated with vitality, warmth and a sense of feeling particularly “alive.” But in this version the focus is just as much on taking care of yourself and manifesting that vitality through soaking in the Sun’s rays and recharging your batteries.

The Sun, Mercury and Venus all move through your 6th house this month — the area associated with work and with self-improvement, which includes your physical and mental well-being. Rest and relaxation is just as essential to that process as are work and productivity.

The “Sun” in this card appears to be setting. It casts its rays onto the ocean in the background, shining across the surface like molten gold.

The image of the woman sleeping comfortably without a worry in the world perfectly captures the essence of the Sun. There’s a sense of effortlessness that’s associated with this card, even as the world keeps on turning around you.

Your ruler (Mars) moves into Sag this month (on the 13th) and into your 9th house — the area associated with personal growth and expansion. After that point there will be plenty of time to spread your wings and fly.

Justice

Justice

Today you may be called upon to make a decision that is fair and just — without regard your own personal investment or leanings. The Justice card refers to a conscious awareness of cause and effect, action and consequence, right and wrong.

It may be a situation that you’re personally involved in, such as a relationship that tugs at your heartstrings but is not aligned with your principles. Or you may be asked to mediate a disagreement among friends or family members.

This isn’t about choosing sides. It’s about being able to tap into the “truth” objectively and impartially.

In this version of the card, a pair of black cats — one facing towards us and one facing away — are balanced in a set of scales that are emerging from the depths of the sea. A shark circles around them from just below the surface of the water.

The orb of the Sun shines through a hinge at the top of the scales, while the cats lounge comfortably in their individual clouds.

The shark infested waters remind us of the need to “rise above” turbulent emotions in order to get a clear perspective, which the Sun shining brightly provides. And notice too how the sky gets progressively brighter and then graduates into night-time. Staying centered, maintaining your composure and getting clarity are all important aspects of this card.

Ask the Tarot: Second Time Around

Second Time Around

A client wants to know about a relationship that ended a few years back. It started, faltered and then fizzled out over the course of a year, without ever fully developing into the serious, committed relationship that my client was interested in.

Since January, their relationship has been “back on” again, after several different transitions (from periods of not speaking at all to attempts to maintain the connection as a friendship only, with a few ‘casual’ hookups in between).

Now though things seem to be moving forward again. And my client — Melissa — is curious about how this plays out in their cards and charts.

Hezicos Tarot -- Judgment

Aries:  Judgement

What decisions have you been needing to make and perhaps been putting off for a while.

You seem to be very clear in what you are thinking but perhaps the outcome you are hoping to achieve seems out of your reach as different aspects of it come to mind and your clear thinking is not correlating with the clear actions you need to take to reach your goal.

This is such a beautiful card… it is a card to get “lost” in whilst you take a step back in order to clarify what you really want to do.

Your mind looks so busy covered in a red hood, the creatures of the sea, both mythical and not, dance around you almost daring you to take your eye of your goal and come and play with them for a while.

Perhaps this is what you really need… to take yourself out of such serious contemplation of decision making and throw yourself into a little bit of fun and playfulness for a while. By doing so you may distract yourself to the point that the answers come more clearly to you.

Four of Mirrors

Aries:  Four of Mirrors

This month is all about choices and those choices and decisions you may be putting off whilst, perhaps, you wait for something better to come along.

The mirrors in this card stand for the suit of cups and from the pattern they are displaying in the water also show that your thoughts, decisions, choices may be changing like the tide… one day you are high on an idea and the next day you are low and no longer want to go along with that idea.

I don’t blame you… from the looks of things where you are sitting it looks pretty comfortable and calming.

There are no intense emotions and everything is running along quite smoothly. You feel at “one” with your environment and see no use in fighting against the current in making changes to your situation. Change is coming though, whether you want it or not.

The sea turtle which is about to brush against your tail is a symbol of you being given a slight nudge in making changes.

You can go back to your dream world, keeping your eyes shut and focused on pleasant thoughts and sensations — or you can face what’s coming head on.

Justice -- Sorcerers Tarot

Justice

Today you may have to made a decision that calls for you to detach from any personal investment and approach things objectively and impartially.

In this version of the card, a woman stands in a clearing with a pair of tiny orbs hovering inches above her grasp. She stares at them, transfixed, as though she’s channeling all of her energy into keeping them afloat.

You can almost feel the electricity in the air — notice her hair standing slightly on end and the orbs glowing above her hands. If you look closely you’ll see that she also appears to be levitating — her feet barely touch the ground.

A scale hangs from a tree on her left and a sword is driven into the ground on her right. These are common themes with the Justice card. They represent fairness, wisdom, reason and intellect.

The Justice card refers to Universal justice — right vs. wrong rather than what you might desperately hope for or want to happen.

In this respect if you’re dealing with a legal situation, workplace drama, marital discord, or some other problem that calls for third-party mediation, know that this is the kind of Justice that will prevail in the end.

February tarotscopes

ARIES: Five of Pentacles

You may start the month going through a bit of a rough patch. The Five of Pentacles is all about questioning your own values — whether that means mentally, physically, spiritually, and financially.

As Pentacles relate to physical, material and tangible concerns, you may be struggling with money and material possessions. But this is also ties into your own sense of self-worth.

You may be asking yourself “What do I have to offer and what is it worth to others?” There’s a sense of loneliness and feelings of inadequacy associated with this card.

But if you look at the images in this version, you see not one person but two. And they seem to be holding each other up — supporting one another.

This is the message behind the Five of Pentacles: it may be cold outside and you may have suffered a recent set-back or a blow to your self-esteem. But all you have to do is look around you — and be willing to reach out for help.

We can’t any of us make it through this world alone. This card is all about reminding ourselves that there is help if we are willing to ask for it, and in doing so will usually come out stronger in the end.

Justice

Today you may be called upon to make a decision that is fair and just — without regard your own personal investment or leanings. The Justice card refers to a conscious awareness of cause and effect, action and consequence, right and wrong.

Or you may be asked to mediate a disagreement among friends or family members. This isn’t about choosing sides. It’s about being able to tap into the “truth” objectively and impartially.

In this version of the card we see a young butterfly girl hovering in the clouds behind a scale. She strives to maintain her balance using the blade of her giant sword. A flaming heart is weighed on one side of the scale against a single white feather in the other.

A yin / yang symbol is etched into the top of the scales and the Hebrew letter “tet” is at the base. Among other things, tet refers to an innate wisdom and understanding of the truth.

This symbolism speaks of balancing head against heart and desire against logic. While we all strive to keep these areas in sync in our own lives, it’s a constant and precarious battle.

Justice

ARIES: Justice

What is your best way forward?

What options do you have?

The Justice card implies you are ready to face a situation head on with logical thought processes.

The scales held in the left hand show a balancing of all the facts whilst the sword in the right hand shows you are ready to speak with conviction once all of the facts have been weighted up.

The situation around you does not need over emotional input for you to gain a satisfactory outcome.

You must use your mind and intellect to access the outcome you are hoping for.

This may mean you need to seek counsel with a professional who can help you with your problems and tip the scales of justice in your favor.
