You can get down to business today and rest assured that you have both feet planted firmly on the ground with any plan you come up with.

There is a wealth of ideas around for you and despite today’s transit of Saturn conjunct the Sun you find yourself finally receiving that push in the right direction that you have been hoping for.

With Saturn conjuncting the Sun there is the capacity for hard work and a long term plan to get there but there is also the capacity for a bit of negative thinking.

Thoughts that you may not be good enough to reach your goal need to be put into the back of your mind or better yet thrown out of your head altogether.

Mars is also squaring the nodes today which means you may feel some tension as to what you want and the means of getting there together with a sense of fate in that this is what you were meant to be doing. Once again do not be put off with negatives and find a way to turn them into positives.

The King of Pentacles is a great card to have alongside these planetary transits as it forces you to make practical negotiations both with yourself and others when putting your thoughts, plans and ideas into solid action.

You will have the capacity to back up what you want and also the means by which to achieve it.

Do not worry that you are aiming too high for as you can see this King’s feet are planted firmly on the ground almost like tree trunks and the white collar surrounding his neck speaks of purity of thought and heart. Seems like nothing will stop you today!

There you stand so grand and tall with all around you that you could ever need but what has it “cost” you?

Notice the shield you are standing on did you get to the position you are in from pushing you way up the ranks to the top of your field as this image implies.

Perhaps you are thinking of a career change or doing something differently to make money just now and if this is the case you also need to look at your motives in why you are doing so.

Will it be a job, career or occupation you love? Something you can pour your heart into?

Or are you just taking this path because you need the money and it pays well?

Doing something which pays well but brings you no happiness or satisfaction can be mind numbing after a while and you don’t want to be stuck like that for long.

There is a fair degree of growth around for you just now as can be seen in the green flowing robes and you also have the power to wield that growth in any direction you wish it to go hence the object in your right hand which looks remarkably like a wand.

The moat around the castle in the background shows that you have already worked long and hard for what you have and are willing to protect it in any way you can.

The King of Pentacles is all about business and money yet also possesses the grounded and earthly qualities to get what he wants.

So what is it that you want? Today looks to be a day about sitting down and calibrating what will work best for you in relation to sorting out your finances or making some money.

The delicate hands that seem to be coming from nowhere within the image are all ready to turn into motion a plan that will see more wealth come your way.

Although wealth does not necessarily need to be about money or finances the King of Pentacles does imply that it is or that it gives you the necessary skills and attributes to make money, hold onto it and watch it grow.

Look at the hands again. There are patterns on the Mount of Pluto slightly rolling into the Mount of Luna which implies that not only is this a good day for finances but that there is a shift that will come through you intuitive side in what you possibly need to change in your life to make this happen.

Pentacles are usually about being grounded and taking practical steps but as the hands are so prominently featured then palmistry is also coming into play. These hands are not earthy… they are more in line with a water sign’s disposition as can be seen from the long fingers.

I always liked the idea of “one hand feeding the other” with this card: you don’t want to put all your eggs in one basket as you risk coming up empty handed. It’s best to keep some of your options afloat, until you’re clearer about the direction you want to go.
