March 21 – April 20
This month the past and the present intersect for you in the form of unfinished business with a relationship partner. Whether this is someone literally from your past, or a current partner who wants to rehash old problems, you’ll be called upon to work toward resolution. You can make a lot of progress here – and even make a fresh start – beginning around the 8th when Venus moves into your sign and conjuncts Uranus. The full Moon is in your romance sector this month too. This can shed light on issues that need to be addressed in your personal life and can also force you to assess the roles that people play in your life. It’s not the best time to start a brand new relationship though – with Mars (your ruler) now retrograde, the focus is more on resolving the past than it is constructing the future.
Moon in Aries: Feb 23, 24, 25, 26
April 21 – May 21
Pay attention to your tendency to sit back and let life unfold around you, particularly in the first two weeks of the month. There’s nothing wrong with staying safe inside your comfort zone, but there’s also a danger in being too relaxed and too passive when you could be out there making a difference in the world. If you feel like your get up and go has got up and went, you can blame Jupiter, which is still languishing comfortably in the earliest degrees of your sign. It’s also in mutual reception with Venus, which is your ruling planet. This energy shifts around the 8th when Venus moves into Aries and into your solar 12th house. This can increase your drive, energy and motivation and can also get your creative juices flowing. Use this time to get in touch with your feelings and to explore your psychic impressions.
Moon in Taurus: Feb 1, 26, 27, 28
May 22 – June 21
You start the month out with your ruler (Mercury) exalted in Aquarius and moving through your 9th house. This is a strong mental placement that will have you exercising your intellectual and philosophical muscles. Although you’re normally very easily distracted, this should help to keep you focused so that you can manifest your ideas. The 9th house also favors travel so if you’re thinking about a trip this would be the time to take one. On the 13th, Mercury trines Saturn and then moves into Pisces. You may be forced to shift gears rather suddenly, from brilliance and ingenuity to creativity and compassion. This may be easier for you to accomplish than it is for most, but can still be somewhat unnerving. Your goal should be to embrace all sides of your personality – as you’ll be experiencing an entire range of emotions this month.
Moon in Gemini: Feb 2, 3, 4, 28, 29
June 22 – July 22
You could surprise yourself this month by taking a giant leap of faith and tackling some of your biggest fears. With four planets (and the New Moon) moving through your house of expansion, evolution and adventure, this would be the perfect time for you to explore unchartered territories – whether that means taking a trip abroad, enrolling in classes, or even embarking on a spiritual journey. Although you’re normally more inclined to stay close to home, this month has you think (and reaching) outside the box. Venus moves into your career sector on the 8th; if you’ve been thinking about applying for a job or asking for a promotion, that’s the time to do it. While things might still be testy for you in the relationship department, this month it’s all about working on yourself and putting your own needs first.
Moon in Cancer: Feb 4, 5, 6
July 23 – August 23
You’ll be doing your share of soul searching this month. With a lineup of planets moving through your 8th house and with Saturn on the cusp of your 4th, there’ll be more introspection and interior analysis than you’re accustomed to. These areas relate to the realm of feelings, emotions and the unconscious mind, which is where your attention will be directed for the better part of the month. Don’t think this means you’ll get bored or be lonely: it can be a personally fulfilling and rewarding period for you. Your altruistic side comes out on the 24th and 25th, so find ways to “give back” too. Since you’re probably scaling down on your expenses, consider giving of your time and energy instead. With Jupiter high in your chart now and in mutual reception with Venus, it will all come back to you in the end.
Moon in Leo: Feb 6, 7, 8
August 24 – September 22
You’re going to be more idealistic about relationships this month and more willing to give others a much-needed break. While you’re ordinarily quick to analyze and even criticize those who don’t live up to your expectations, Venus in Pisces in your relationship sector can soften some of your opinions and help you to put yourself in someone else’s shoes. Neptune comes in on the 3rd, reinforcing this theme. But all is not perfect: with Mars moving backwards through your sign for the next few months you’re going to be less inclined to grant yourself the same amnesty. You’re likely to get frustrated with projects that have to be scrapped or plans that fall through. This transit requires you to revisit, revise and refine – yourself as well as your work. You can make a lot of profess if you’re willing to surrender to this requirement.
Moon in Virgo: Feb 8, 9, 10
September 23 – October 23
You’ll be taking a serious look at your personal relationships this month and making some adjustments. With Venus and Mars in opposition starting on the 1st, you’re likely to be paying more attention to what’s wrong with your relationship rather than what’s right. This aspect can put you at odds with loved ones and accentuate whatever problems you’re already experiencing. But it fortunately doesn’t last long, and by the 8th you should see things starting to improve. In the meantime three planets (and the Full Moon) are moving through your 5th house – the sector related to self-expression, creativity and yes, romance. You can expect your attention to be directed towards these areas throughout most of the month. Children will figure prominently too – whether they’re yours or someone else’s. This can be a playful, joyous and creative time for you, so use it to your advantage.
Moon in Libra: Feb 10, 11, 12
October 24 – November 22
This month you’ll be making decisions about where people fit into your life – and where you fit into theirs. With your relationship rulers in opposition to one another at the start of the month, and with Mars moving backwards through your house of friendships, this is going to be no easy task. You may learn that some of your friendships are interfering with your relationships or vice versa. You may even end up eliminating some people from your life. Be careful though – you don’t want to make decisions based on what you think will make someone else happy if it means sacrificing your own needs. Starting on the 7th and 8th, Venus moves into your work sector at the same time the Full Moon takes place in your professional sector. This makes for a good time to focus on work and let your personal life take a back seat.
Moon in Scorpio Feb 12, 13, 14
November 23 – December 21
You may feel like retreating into the apparent safety of home and family this month, which is not your usual style. But with a preponderance of planets below the horizon and with your co-ruler (Neptune) moving back into Pisces, you’re due for a bit of a social reprieve. Saturn turns retrograde in your house of friendships on the 7th, making you even less inclined to interact with others: this transit can slow down social opportunities as well as your desire to pursue them. This doesn’t mean you’ll be going stir-crazy. It can actually have the opposite effect. When you reduce external distractions you may discover a rich and powerful inner life that you didn’t even know existed. This is especially true between the 13th and 20th when your psychic intuition is at its peak. Use this time to rest and recharge your; it will do you a world of good.
Moon in Sagittarius: Feb 14, 15, 16, 17
December 22 – January 20
You’ve been working on being grounded and productive in the work place. This month you may experience a few hiccups, particularly around the 7th when your ruler (Saturn) goes retrograde and on the 15th when Venus – your career ruler – squares Pluto. The combination of these two transits can make for a frustrating period of time where you’ll be forced to step back, rethink and reposition yourself professionally. You’ve got several planets moving through your money houses, so this shouldn’t affect you financially. But it’s still not a good time to make frivolous choices or impulsive purchases. Pluto moving through your sign can make it hard for you to even consider slowing down. But it’s a good time to start conceptualizing outcomes before taking action. You’ll make a lot of progress and save yourself a lot of aggravation if you do.
Moon in Capricorn: Feb 17, 18, 19
January 21 – February 18
You’ve got several planets (and the Full Moon on the 7th) all occupying your sign now. This is a good time for you to pull back from so many social responsibilities and to focus instead on you for a change. You’re so big on trying to help others and make changes in the world that you tend to forget to take time out for yourself. But with this lineup of planets in Aquarius now – and with Venus catching up to your ruler in Aries, the focus for you this month is going to be much less social and much more personal. Activate Venus this month and treat yourself to something related to love or beauty: a spa treatment, concert, painting, romantic get-away, etc. The idea is to do something for yourself that you wouldn’t ordinarily do, and allow yourself to relish the blessings you deserve.
Moon in Aquarius: Feb 19, 20, 21
February 19 – March 20
This is your month, Pisces. Venus is in your sign at the start of the month and your ruler (Neptune) moves back into Pisces the 3rd, followed by Mercury and the Sun (on the 13th and 19th respectively). You’re going to be feeling like you’re more “in your element” than usual for the better part of the month. Your intuition and psychic abilities will be intensified and you should also be feeling more creative and expressive. These are strong relationship transits as well. The downside of this is that you may be almost too idealistic — which can translate to being too gullible, naïve or easily fooled. You’ll want to keep your wits about you while still actualizing the more compassionate and altruistic traits of these aspects. The key for you is “balance” as in making sure you reap the benefits without losing touch with reality.
Moon in Pisces: Feb 21, 22, 23
