We begin the month with Mercury retrograde at 8° Leo and moving back to 4° through August 11th. In addition, the outer planets of Pluto at 2° Aquarius and Neptune at 1° Aries and Saturn there, too, are also in retrograde motion. Uranus turns retro in early September 6th at 1° Gemini so it is basically stationing later this month and gaining power.
While Uranus is in good aspects with those planets mentioned above, there are big changes brewing this month but the first ten days remains relatively quiet. There is much more upheaval after the full Moon on August 9 when the Moon is in the same sign as Pluto and Mars enters Libra opposing Saturn and Neptune in Aries. That aspect triggers a lot of anger and upheaval in the world and even more so after the 11th when Mercury turns direct at 4 degrees Leo. People are pissed and it is a troubled time.
On a positive note, Venus will be conjunct Jupiter on the 12th and 13th at 13 and 14 degrees of Cancer. This has a protective vibe to it where people may start to be more caring and concerned about security for themselves but also take action to help others.
During the last half of August, we have a new Moon at 1 degree of Virgo on August 22 or the 23rd, depending on your time zone, which creates a 90 degree square aspect to that powerfully stationed Uranus at 1 degree of Gemini. This hard aspect often portends an unexpected event that changes things dramatically.
At the same time, Pluto, Saturn and Neptune are at 150° aspects with the Sun and new Moon in early Virgo forming a Yod to the New Moon and Sun at 1° Virgo. This aspect is often called the Finger of God and it points to something big and dramatic happening, many times involving world leaders.
At the same time Venus is moving towards an opposition with Pluto, which also seems like added drama in the following days. Is it a “let them eat cake” moment? We shall find out.
Those who have woven tangled webs of lies and deceptions will face some confrontations in early September as an eclipse on the 9th brings in more information. Some transformation is definitely in order for the world in general.

Aries — March 21-April 19: Saturn and Neptune are retrograde at 1 degree in your sign and still relatively weak by degree. Your ruling planet, Mars, moves into your opposition sign of Libra on the 8th and starts to ruffle some feathers as he opposes Saturn and Neptune. It feels troublesome to me and can also mean your partner is rather irritated as well. Some steam needs to be blown off, it appears. Keep your opinions to yourself around the full Moon or you may find yourself in hot water. The lunar vibes favor you on the 12th and 13th, but keep a wary low profile anyway.
Taurus — April 20-May 20: With Venus moving closer to Jupiter, and very visible in the predawn sky, you may have some close and favorable connections with the family and other loved ones coming up during the 10 days or so of the month. Watch your health and habits around the 9th as Mars in your solar 6th house of health could trigger some inflammation or a flare-up of an old condition at that time. Take care of your home and property as it’s a good month to make improvements. Your lucky days are the 14th and 15th.
Gemini — May 21-June 21: Mercury is retrograde until August 11th, so there’s a feeling of being on hold or just frustrated with what is currently not happening in your life. You just have to wait this period out, as it is not advised to start new projects, buy expensive things or make major changes during your ruling planet’s retrograde cycle. Also, Uranus in the first degree of your sign and about to go retrograde also indicates that things are not yet ready to blossom for you. Mars is still in your 4th house, so do things to improve your home or property to take advantage of that energy. Your best days are the 16th, 17th and AM hours of the 18th.
Cancer — June 22-July 23: With both Venus and Jupiter transiting your sign, there are sure to be some pleasant people and events around you! Mercury is retrograde in your solar 2nd house of assets and money, so there may be some reorganization of finances required this month. Mars goes into Libra and your solar 4th house on the 8th but opposes Saturn and Neptune at the top of your chart so you may be a bit torn between work and home life and a balance will be hard to achieve. Just give it some time, as Mars will move on quickly from that opposition. Stay centered and do what is in front of you with grace and excellence. Your stellar days are the PM hours of the 18th, the 19th and the 20th.
Leo — July 24-August 23: There’s more tension in your life this month as Mercury is retrograde in your sign and moving back to 4 degrees, which is pretty close to an opposition with Pluto at 2 degrees of Aquarius. Keep your cool and try to stay in the background until Mercury moves direct after August 11th. Let things just be as it will work out the way it is supposed to. There may be some financial tension added to the mix as Mars will oppose Saturn and Neptune after the 8th and that can mean tempers can get triggered. Pay attention to your money and your whereabouts around the new Moon on the 23rd as that is a volatile day. Take care of your health and don’t overindulge. The 21st and 22nd are your best days.
Virgo — August 24-September 22: With Mercury retrograde until August 11th, it might feel as if you are in a holding pattern, like a plane circling the airport waiting to get clearance to land. The new Moon on the 23rd is a volatile time as the Moon and Sun at 1 degree of Virgo get a square from Uranus and the Yod aspect from Pluto, Saturn and Neptune right on the cusp of your solar ascendant of Virgo. Pay attention to your health, particularly your digestive tract, as Virgos can be sensitive there. If you feel confused and triggered this month, it is to be expected so scream into your pillow! September reveals more of the story and all is not lost. The new Moon on the 23rd and the 24th are your best days.
Libra — September 23-October 22: Mars gets into your sign on the 8th but makes an opposition to Saturn and Neptune in your 7th house. Relationships can be testy during this time and this vibe may continue through the 23rd when the New Moon gets squared by Uranus, making for some unexpected changes occurring. Keep breathing and let your calm inner self point the way to the best solution to whatever situation you have to deal with at the time. Plans may change suddenly and you’ll just have to adapt. The 25th, 26th and 27th are days that favor your sign.
Scorpio — October 23-November 22: Mars, your ruling planet, enters Libra on the 8th and will be transiting your solar 12th house this month and for most of September as well. It’s time to pull back a bit, spend some time alone or take a trip around water to get centered again. Pluto has been hanging around the cusp of your 4th house of family, ancestors, real estate, and all things underground for the last two years, so I get it you’ve had enough already! This can be a time of loss or foreshadow the beginning of a time of loss. You need to be centered and to try to avoid outside drama, though it will be hard to do that during the last part of the month. In any event, do your best to take care of yourself while not avoiding your responsibilities to the family. Your days of power are the 1st, 2nd, 28th and 29th.
Sagittarius — November 23-December 20: With Venus and Jupiter pairing up in your solar 8th house of death, taxes, legacies, investments, and insurances, this is a month you need to pay attention to these things. It can portend a windfall, an inheritance or other money settlement coming to you. That sounds good to me! Venus with Jupiter usually has some kind of overindulgence thing going on, so do try to avoid too much of that scenario and take care of business instead. Events around the new Moon on the 23rd may rock you a bit and could involve family and/or your professional stature. Just be calm and let yourself delay making big decisions immediately as you need to sit with the situation to be clear on the best course of action. Your ruling planet loves being in the sign of Cancer so that has a positive and protective influence for you. The 3rd, 4th, AM hours of the 5th, and the 30th and 31st are your stellar days.
Capricorn — December 21-January 20: With your ruling planet, Saturn, now retrograde in the 1st degree of Aries, there’s a slowing down of events or business or a reluctance to make any big changes now, as the way is just not clear with Neptune retrograde and right next to Saturn, there is a fog of confusion. So just sit tight, as Saturn separates from Neptune by a few degrees in October as he goes back into Pisces to clear up some old business from April and May time period. He goes direct at the end of November so you’ll be more prepared after Xmas and into the new year with the clarity you need to move ahead. It’s a chop wood, carry water time for all Cappy’s this fall whether they like it or not.
Aquarius — January 21-February 19: Retrograde Pluto is still hovering around your solar ascendant at 2 degrees, and is probably making you intense, frustrated, inflamed and fatigued, often all at the same time. You are kind of hard to be around right now and this month it seems to simmer to a boiling point around the new Moon on the 23rd. Watch your surroundings and avoid conflict with others the last week of the month. It will not serve you well if you fly off the handle as other people are also being stressed by these same aspects. Take some time off and just be in a pleasant natural environment to take stock and enjoy life in a simple way. Your stellar days are the 8th and the full Moon on the 9th. Chill.
Pisces — February 20-March 20: Jupiter will have some close contact with Venus during the second week of the month so plan some pleasant events to attend or just hang out with loved ones. You can view them together in the predawn hours if you look to the east, as Venus is huge and blazing and Jupiter is fairly close by. Planets don’t twinkle like the stars do so use that as a guide to identify Jupiter. The new Moon time period around the 23rd may have some interesting changes for you and your partner if you have one. It seems as if a new adventure is in store for the both of you, no rush, as it will unfold. The lunar vibes of the 10th and 11th favor you.
