The month begins with all the planets traveling in direct motion, which is a pretty big deal considering that since May of 2022 we’ve had between two and six of them in retrograde motion each month.
You can make all this ‘full speed ahead” direct motion work for you now. Develop an action plan to achieve your goals and stick with it, hire a coach if you need that extra support but the point is that the force is with us now, so go for it.
If something in your chart, like Saturn transiting a planet or angle is causing some caution or delay, it’s OK. Just work with that slower and more cautious energy and keep going. In regards to Saturn transits, which everyone including myself dreads, remember that Saturn leaves a gift for you after every transit to a house or planet in your chart.
So, here are the planetary motions for the month of February. Mercury covers the degrees it retrograded over by the 8th, so any messes made in January can be cleaned up by then. He enters Aquarius on February 12th. Venus moves into her exalted sign of Pisces on the 14th which is quite fitting for Valentine’s day, right?
Mars is chugging along in Gemini and gets to 18 degrees at month’s end and makes a trine relationship with Saturn. Jupiter moves from 6 degrees to almost 12 degrees of Aries by the end of the month. Aries is a masculine, cardinal, fire sign so you may feel quite the urgency to make things happen this month.
Saturn moves from 25 degrees to the 29th degree of Aquarius by month’s end. Uranus moves on to the 15th degree of Taurus, which sets the stage for a lot of chaos and sensitivity at this degree through the middle of September, with an eclipse and two other planets stationing at this degree. Heads up to all with a planet or angle here, as there are big changes in store for you in 2023.
Neptune moves from the middle of the 23rd degree to the middle of the 24th degree of Pisces and Pluto brings up the rear of the planetary parade this month at 29 degrees of Capricorn.

Aries — March 21-April 19: Jupiter in your sign makes for an optimistic time for you for the next few months. Take advantage of the positive vibes by studying something of interest or new to you, attending a meditation retreat or taking a quiet vacation by a body of water. Whatever you decide to do, do it with an open, positive and enthusiastic attitude! Your stellar days are the 22nd and 23rd.
Taurus — April 20-May 20: With the Sun in your solar 10th house, you have some power available to get more traction in your professional life. Uranus at 15 degrees of your sign also gives you a lot of magnetism to attract what you want in your life after the first week in February. There could be a reversal of some sort before the 5th but after that you are free to unbuckle your seat belt and move about the cabin! Your best days are the 24th, 25th and AM hours of the 26th.
Gemini — May 21-June 21: With Mercury picking up speed on its way out of Capricorn on the 12th, you shake off some stagnation and ennui and get involved in something of interest to you. It helps that Venus is exalted and in your solar 10th house so expect some gains through your professional life. Mars is still in Gemini and making a trine to Saturn in Aquarius so that also gives you a boost to succeed as your sincere words win the day. Your days to shine are the 1st, the PM hours of the 26th, the 27th and 28th.
Cancer — June 22-July 23: With all the planets in direct motion and above the horizon in your Cancer Ascendant chart, you have Jupiter at the top of things in your 10th house of profession, so you have some power and protection in your favor. Jupiter expands what it touches so make as many contacts as you can and allow your enthusiasm to help with these connections. It’s a time to have a little faith in your ability to succeed. Your stellar days are the 2nd and 3rd this month.
Leo — July 24-August 23: With the Sun in your 7th house along with Saturn, there is a seriousness about your partnerships, contracts and business relationships. Take stock of your financial situation, too and make sure you are up to speed on investments, insurances and tax matters. Jupiter is in your 9th house so that makes for a great time for a trip abroad in the next few months. Great times to make those plans are the 4th, the full Moon on the 5th and the 6th.
Virgo — August 24-September 22: With the Sun and Saturn in your 6th house and Mars in your 10th house, you have a very busy work situation which can be challenging to manage. But with Mercury in fellow earth sign Capricorn until the 13th, you can maintain a work/life balance. Venus in Pisces in your 7th house means your partner/spouse is basically happy right now and will be supportive of you and what’s going on at work but still make plans for Valentine’s Day! Your stellar days are the 7th and 8th.
Libra — September 23-October 22: This is a very fruitful creative period as the Sun and Saturn in Aquarius transit your 5th house of creativity and Venus is in your 6th house of work, health, habits and service. Mars in Gemini transits in your 9th house of beliefs, sense of meaning and philosophy so you have a stable and positive air trine of energy guiding your actions this month. The 9th, 10th and 11th are your days of power.
Scorpio — October 23-November 22: Mars in Gemini is still transiting your 8th house of loss, insecurities, sex, psychology, taxes, insurance and end of life matters. Kind of a bummer that it’s been in that house for you since the last week of August and won’t enter your 9th house until the last part of March, 2023. That’s a solid seven months so I do hope you’ve been dealing with these matters. Console yourself with the fact this is kind of a once in a lifetime transit. Avoid travel abroad until April, 2023, just to be cautious. Venus is in Pisces in your 5th house so you might see some romantic light at the end of the tunnel. Having a solid daily routine in life will also help. Good days to enjoy life are the 12th and 13th.
Sagittarius — November 23-December 20: With Jupiter, your ruling planet, now advancing in fellow fire sign Aries in your 5th house, you have some fun things to look forward in the next 3 ½ months. So, get yourself together and get out there and be social. Venus has entered your 4th house so maybe you entertain at your home for a change. It would be wise to take advantage of that now as Saturn will be entering your 4th house in early March and that can make one feel a bit obscure. So, take advantage of the power of Jupiter and Venus while they are favoring you! Your best days are the 14th and 15th.
Capricorn — December 21-January 20: Saturn is transiting your 2nd house of assets, money and things we spend it on so I imagine you have been frugal and kept within your budget the last 2 years. Thankfully, he enters Pisces in early March and you get some relief from that kind of caution. The gift Saturn will leave with you is to have a better grasp on how you spend money and some money in the bank! Venus is now in Pisces in your third house so you may start feeling more social and communicative this month. It’s also a great time to have an open house party in your home or office to spread some of that good will around to people you see on a daily basis. Great days for that are the 16th or 17th.
Aquarius — January 21-February 19: With Saturn transiting the last 4 degrees of your sign this month, you are probably ready for a change from feeling so responsible. Well, kick up your heels a little as Mars is in your 5th and Venus is in your 2nd so why not spend some money doing something fun and a bit frivolous? If not now, how about the end of the month? Mars likes to travel so how about a road trip to someplace interesting? Stellar days for that are the 18th and 19th.
Pisces — February 20-March 20: With Venus now transiting Pisces, you might be feeling nostalgic for people or places you’ve visited before. Jupiter is in your 2nd house so money is pretty plentiful but if you can’t fit it in right now plan to do so in the near future if at all possible. Another place to spend some money would be on some kind of home improvement as Mars is transiting your 4th house and that usually means some repairs need to happen. So, it’s your choice, vacation or home repair. I know what I would do. Enjoy the days of the full Moon on the 20th and the 21st as the lunar vibes favor you then.
