October 2012 Horoscope

June 2013 Monthly Horoscope -- AriesYou’ll be feeling both restless and adventuresome this month, starting on the first with (still) full moon in your sign, and gaining momentum through the 7th when your ruler (Mars)  moves into Sagittarius. This should be a dynamic period for you, rife with travel and personal expansion. You’ll be flying high and looking out over so many unexplored vistas. You don’t want to get reckless; there are a couple days (namely the 7th and 28th) where having your head in the clouds could cause you to become careless or accident prone.  Venus (your relationship ruler) moves in Virgo on the 3rd, forming an opposition to Neptune.  You or your partner may become disillusioned, or one of you (most likely you) may express a need to break free. This can also apply to casual relationships and love-interests – where you wake up and realize that you’re no longer on the same page.  The Moon moves back into your sign on the 26th, and Venus enters your relationship sector a day later. Hold off on making important decisions until that time: while you may want to spread your wings this month, you won’t want to do it at the expense of your relationship.

 Moon in Aries:  Oct 1, 26, 27, 28 and 29

TaurusYou’ll be putting a lot of time, effort and energy into your personal relationships this month.  A series of transits (involving the Moon, Venus, Mercury and Saturn) that occur early on will set the stage for changes throughout the remainder of the month.  If you’re in a relationship and it’s solid, things can only get better.  But any cracks that have developed are likely to broaden as your partnerships are tested. These transits can bring someone new into the picture, whether you’re available or not.  Venus’s entrance into your romance sector brings opportunities that you might otherwise have missed. But it’s Saturn’s entry into your relationship sector – for the first time in 30 years – that’s most significant. This brings an all-or-nothing element to the table and forces you to look at your relationships with renewed focus and analysis. People decide to get married under this transit; they also decide to divorce. It’s hard to find a middle ground when you’re evaluating something with such intense scrutiny. Everything comes to a head with the full moon in your sign on the 29th.  Decisions you make now can be life-altering, so make sure you know what you’re signing up for before you make a stand.

Moon in Taurus: Oct 1, 2, 3, 4, 29, 30 and 31GeminiYou’ve probably felt like you’ve been “all over the place”over the last few months.  You have an unlimited amount of energy and just as many outlets for it, but seem to lack the discipline needed to channel it properly. This has been especially true for you in the professional arena. Both of your career rulers are prominent right now, but both are also retrograde (as of the 4th when Jupiter changes direction). There’s a “back to the drawing board” quality to these retrogrades as they usually bring problems to light that had previously been overlooked. In your case though, both Saturn and Mercury (your ruler) are moving into your work sector on the 5th, which should start the ball rolling again.  The Saturn portion of this transit is important: it marks the beginning of a 2-1/2 year period of enhanced focus and disciple which should serve you well. Relationships may be another story. That Jupiter retrograde can bring old lovers back into your life, though they may not stick around.  If you’re involved in an established relationship, old problems you thought you’d put to rest are likely to resurface. You’ll have another chance to make things right so don’t ignore the opportunity.

Moon in Gemini: Oct 4, 5, 6 and 31

CancerYou’ll be making important decisions about your love life this month, starting around the 5th when Saturn (your relationship ruler) moves into your romance sector. This happens only once every 29 years and for you it’s significant because it involves both your romance and relationship rulers.  These rulers (Saturn and Pluto) are positioned in each other’s houses and in what’s called “mutual reception, which acts to strengthen their impact.  A new prospective partner may come in during this time or you may be deciding whether to take a current relationship to the next (more serious) level.  It’s going to be next to impossible to feel light-hearted or carefree about anyone who comes into your life during this time.  You may also feel like a fish out of water, as these transits tend to make you more self-conscious and inhibited.  These are both characteristics associated with the intensity and heaviness related to Saturn / Pluto transit.  At the same time they lend perspective: you get a lot clearer about what you want and what you’re willing to sacrifice in the name of love. A transit on the 22nd brings you another period of clarity. Hold off on making any important decisions until that time.

 Moon in Cancer: Oct 6, 7, 8 and 9

June 2013 Monthly Horoscope -- LeoYou’ve had some ups and downs in your relationships in recent weeks, thanks to a very stressful aspect between Pluto and your relationship ruler (Uranus).   Misunderstandings, miscommunications and painful realizations about what each of you want have all been prominent themes. This is probably true whether you’ve been in an established relationship or just chasing after an idealized version of a romantic partner. Venus – the traditional “love” planet – has been moving through your sign for some weeks. This has probably elevated your popularity and made you more attractive to others. You probably have no trouble attracting interested parties – but keeping them interested or keeping the romance alive right now is a whole other story. Both your romance and relationship rulers (Jupiter and Uranus) have been at odds with other planets, and have likely been wreaking havoc in all of your social interactions. In the meantime, Mars moves into your romance sector on the 6th. This can increase both your libido and your sex appeal, but can make you more argumentative and rash as well.  This is not the time to engage in arguments or confrontations. Use this energy to make love not war, and you’ll be better off in the end.

Moon in Leo: Oct 9, 10 and 11

June 2013 Monthly Horoscope -- VirgoForget what you’ve been told about good things coming to those who wait.  This month it’s going to be all about grabbing onto opportunities as soon as they present themselves.  Starting on the 3rd, when Venus enters your sign, you’ll have a bit of a jump start over everyone else.  Most people know that Venus rules love and romance, but not everyone realizes it also rules money. And this is where you’re going to be directing a lot of your attention. At the start of the month you’ll have 5 planets in your money houses as well.  You can take advantage of financial opportunities, particularly investing and saving.  These are not particularly “lucky” transits so don’t run off to the horse track. Instead you want to focus on making your earnings grow.  Your ruler (Mercury) joins Saturn on the 6th and moves out of your financial sector and into your communications sector. Shift your focus over to mental endeavors:  anything associated with research, analysis, or behind the scenes problem-solving fits that bill perfectly. Your love life may take a hit – in spite of the Venus transit. Focus on preserving the harmony rather striving for change, at least for the next few weeks.

Moon in Virgo: Oct 11, 12 and 13

June 2013 Monthly Horoscope -- LibraHold onto your hat this month, you’re in for a seriously bumpy ride!  Both of your relationship rulers (Venus and Mars) are changing signs in the first week of October (Venus on the 3rd and Mars on the 6th). The first aspect Venus makes is an opposition to Neptune, the planet related to disillusionment and disenchantment.  These two planets ordinarily work well together (as Neptune is the higher octave of Venus). But the opposition tends to bring conflict and in this case it’s likely to be internal rather than external. It can feel like the breaking of a “spell” – seeing qualities in your partner through a different (less idealized) lens – or it can be a more jarring, eye-opening revelation. Mars moving into Sag can be a good thing: it speaks of adventure, optimism and spontaneity. You can lick the wounds created by Venus in your 12th house opposite Neptune by brushing yourself and getting yourself back out there, courtesy of Mars. The new Moon takes place in your sign on the 15th, which should have you feeling a little more sociable. But it’s Venus itself entering Libra on the 28th that has you back at the top of your game.

Moon in Libra:  Oct 13, 14 and 15

June 2013 Monthly Horoscope -- ScorpioYou’ve had your share of upheavals in both your personal and professional life over the last several weeks. With the Sun in your 12th house (the area associated with hidden enemies) in hard aspect to both Pluto (your ruler) and Uranus, you’ve likely experienced friction with those in your immediate environment – particularly family members and co-workers.  Strained relationships can overshadow your more solid connections, but you can attribute this to resentments that are spilling over from previous months, as most of your more difficult transits are starting to lift. Starting on the 5th, Mercury and Saturn join together and move into your sign. The Saturn transit is most significant: this will be the first time it’s entered Scorpio in almost 30 years. You may feel like you’re scrambling to accomplish things you’d started over last couple years.  This is a serious transit and can be slow-moving, but it’s going to afford you the discipline to put your plans into action. Important decisions about your relationships, your health and your career are also indicated.   With Mars, the North Node, the Sun and Moon all making appearances in your sign this month, this is the perfect time to re-invent yourself.

Moon in Scorpio: Oct 15, 16 and 17

SagittariusIt may be back to the drawing board for you in several areas, with both of your ruling planets (Neptune and Jupiter) retrograde for most of the month. This can represent a much-needed break from all the craziness you’ve been dealing with over the last couple months, as it can give you a chance to recharge your batteries.  Jupiter is currently moving through your relationship sector (where it has been since mid-June).  This retrograde (starting October 4) lasts almost 4 months, during which time you’re likely to experience things like reconnecting with loved ones from your past, repeating old patterns in current relationships and uncanny episodes of déjà vu. With Neptune retrograde your dreams become more vivid and your psychic impressions more explicit. Retrogrades tend to cause you to turn you inward among other things. Mars moves into your sign early in the month (Oct 6th) just as Saturn and Mercury move into your 12th house. This is area is largely what you make of it: it’s said to be the house of “self-undoing,” but is also related to hidden blessings and talents. The good news is: you’ve got the rest of the month to figure out how to harness that energy.

Moon in Sagittarius: Oct 17, 18 and 19

June 2013 Horoscope: CapricornSaturn (your ruler) is moving into Scorpio this month – on the 5th – for the first time in nearly 30 years. This is a powerful transit, as it represents not only a shift in your own energy but in that of the people you interact with as well.   Saturn will be moving through your 11th house of friends and acquaintances for the next 2-1/2 years.  It can limit or restrict your social connections, as you decide who’s important enough to keep around. You don’t have to alienate yourself from others during this transit: you can view it as empowering in the sense of fostering relationships with those you want to keep in your circle and letting go of those you don’t.  Saturn will also be in what’s called a mutual reception with Pluto, which is currently in your sign.  This is a helping-hand configuration and should make it easier for you to transition into this cycle. You’ll also be thinking about where you fit in in the world, and how your contributions can impact on society at large. With these transits, you’ll be taking a more serious look at humanitarian goals and taking the necessary steps to put them into action.

Moon in Capricorn: Oct 19, 20, 21 and 22

June 2013 Horoscope: AquariusYour biggest focus this month will be on your career and professional standing. Starting around the 5th, when Saturn and Mercury move into your career sector, you’ll be seeing your efforts starting to pay off. This is the culmination of all your hard work, although it doesn’t come without some stress.  You may be dealing with health concerns too:  A t-square involving Pluto, the Sun and Uranus (your ruler) has been active for the last several weeks.  Even though some of the players in this configuration are starting to move on, there are likely to still be some residual concerns.  This is not something to take lightly: if you’re due for a check-up get it done so that you can put any concerns to rest and focus on other areas.  Be mindful of your financial situation, as an opposition between Neptune and Venus across your money sectors can indicate deception in this area. It’s not the time to get involved in anything shady like a pyramid or get-rich-quick scheme. Fortunately this aspect is only in place for a few days. You won’t be completely out of the water until the 10th, but the rest of the month should be relatively smooth sailing.

Moon in Aquarius:  Oct 22, 23 and 24

June 2013 Horoscope: PiscesYou’re still healing from some recent disappointments in the love department.  With your ruler (Neptune) retrograde in your sign and opposing Venus in your relationship sector (on the 3rd), you’ll be experiencing an awakening in this area.  It can be a painful realization about a current relationship or about one that you’ve come to realize just wasn’t meant to be.  There’s a polarizing influence to this opposition. It can emphasize differences which can pull you further apart. You might feel more fragile or vulnerable, but it’s empowering in the end. There are elements of acceptance and understanding (the true nature of unconditional love) that help you get past some of these heartaches. Venus in your relationship house is actually very positive:  it can bring in someone new or can reignite feelings that had started to dull. Either way it’s about renewing the promise for love and companionship as you put to rest any outdated hopes and expectations. The Moon moves into your sign on the 24th and sets the stage for a several-day period where your relationship planets are in perfect harmony. Take advantage of these transits by getting out there and being open to all the Universe has to offer.

Moon in Pisces:  Oct 24, 25 and 26
