Weekly Astrology Forecast — Sep 24, 2018 – Sep 30, 2018:

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Sep 24, 2018 – Sep 30, 2018:

This week’s highlights include a Full Moon in Aries, Chiron retrograding back into Pisces, and the asteroid Juno moving into Gemini. We start things off on Monday, with a Mercury / Mars trine , just as the Sun inconjuncts Uranus and Saturn inconjuncts the North Node.

The Mercury / Mars trine is great for asserting yourself with others clearing away any confusion or uncertainty. It’s good for making plans — especially anything tied to higher-mind goals and aspirations. Are you thinking about taking a trip abroad? Now this the time to look into airfares and excursions. Or maybe you are thinking about taking a course or going back to school. This aspect is perfect for offering your intentions up to the Universe and allowing them to take flight.

The Sun / Uranus aspect is significant because these planets rule opposing signs, thus making up a planetary pair. It can either assist you in understanding and accepting the differences in others, or it can further frustrate that process. It can help by forcing you to honor each individual’s unique contributions to society, or can hinder by pointing out their glaring eccentricities.

You can choose to either relish your own peculiarities and learn to “fly your freak flag” (Sun inconjunct Uranus) — or get caught up in the shame and guilt that comes with not quite fitting in (Saturn / North Node). In the end it’s entirely up to you.

The Aries Full Moon on Tuesday is conjunct Chiron and closely square to Saturn. This Full Moon — at 1° Aries 57 — is known as the Corn Moon or Barley Moon, so named because these crops are ready for harvesting at this time.

This year it’s also a Harvest Moon, as it is the Full Moon closest to the Autumnal equinox.

The Full Moon provides an overview of the progress you’ve made since its New Moon counterpoint earlier this month. Seeds that were planted then will surely have sprouted; do you need to make adjustments or change your course entirely? Now is the time to think about what you’ve accomplished and where you want to go from here.

Because it’s in Aries — the sign associated with action, energy, motivation and drive — we can see how harnessing this Full Moon’s promise can lead to some very good things. But don’t forget the square to Saturn, as it can definitely put a damper on your good mood.

Chiron retrogrades back into Pisces on Wednesday. Chiron has been in Pisces since April. It barely got a foot in the door before it turned retrograde (in July) and started its journey back. Chiron in Pisces — especially retrograde and at an anaretic degree (29°).

On Thursday, the Sun trines Mars. This is a powerful transit: it’s excellent for getting out there and strutting your stuff. It’s all about finding your stride and taking initiative to make things happen. This aspect is self-assured and confident. It’s perfect for manifesting your goals. It tells you that whatever you want to attain is completely within your reach and that now is the time to go for it.

The Moon is still in Aries, carrying the Full Moon energy forward and reinforcing that Martian drive.  But it’s void of course until 7:15 am (UT) when it moves into Taurus. As a result, things are more likely to stabilize in the early morning hours, even if the Moon’s first aspect in Taurus is conjunct our resident game-changer, Uranus.

The asteroid Juno moves into Gemini on Saturday.  Juno in Gemini is versatile and adaptable when it comes to matters of the heart. It craves stimulation and change. It can see you getting restless and wanting to shake things up a bit.

Juno in Gemini is less about deep meaningful connections and more about playfulness and synergy. As Juno is said to be the key that unlocks the secret to finding lasting happiness (in relationship) consider that it doesn’t to always be about structure and disciplined. It can be lively, interactive and fun. These things are just as important in developing strong connections, and equally as valid.

We end the week on a bit fuzzier note, with Mercury inconjuncting Neptune on Sunday. This transit can can see you wasting time on meaningless distractions or getting confused by what should be simple directions. The potential for getting your wires crossed is strong, and can manifest as misunderstandings or miscommunications. Be careful too that you don’t misread people, as in placing your trust in the wrong ones or expecting more from them than they can deliver.

This is another planetary pair: two planets ruling naturally opposing signs. So it’s most likely to related to relationships, whether personal or professional. Don’t buy into everything you read or hear during this time: if it seems too good to be true it probably is, By the same token you don’t want to let your imagination run away with you and start making assumptions about people that are undeserved.

That’s it for this week! See you next week!
