Happy Beltane/May Day! This month begins with lovely Venus conjunct Neptune at the 1st degree of Aries, which feels auspicious to me. It is a day to enjoy life’s beautiful moments, and I plan to stretch it out for at least three days!
I had three lovely yellow roses bloom today as if on cue! Venus is blazing in the early morning hours before sunrise in the east but to see Neptune you need a telescope.
If you are an early riser, do catch a glimpse of the beauty of Venus rising before the Sun.
Mercury also rises before the Sun but is less than 30 degrees away and very hard to see in the early morning sky. Mercury is at 16° Aries and moves to 11° Gemini throughout the month.
Venus moves from 0 degrees 24’ of Aries to 24 degrees of Aries this month where she is conjunct Chiron, the wounded healer, at month’s end. One could have some old wounds come up at that time, particularly around relationship issues.
Mars, firmly in fiery Leo now, is about to move beyond the degree he retrograded on in early December. He moves from 5 degrees, 46’ through 20 degrees 47’ of Leo. Mars can be blustery and assertive in Leo but Leo likes to be generous so there’s that. Mars is in Leo and will be in a trine relationship with Venus in Aries, so there may be some romance in the air for the fire signs this month. If you are looking, put yourself out there.
Jupiter is still in Gemini and moves from 21 degrees, 53’ to 27 degrees 53’ and is beyond the degree it retrograded on in early October of 2024 and is in new territory now. Jupiter is involved with justice, fairness and the law so we may have some pushback from the judiciary about the rule of law now.
Saturn’s current position is significant as he moves from 27 degrees of Pisces 53’ to 0 degrees 27’ of Aries this month. Saturn last entered Aries in April of 1996 but this time he will be in conjunction with Neptune for this spin around the Sun. Yes, he has a retrograde period beginning in July and goes back into Pisces from September through mid-February 2026 but the next three and a half months will give a clue to how the new cycle will play out. Saturn is grounded and practical while Neptune is mystical, inspirational and idealistic but their two blended energies can definitely bring new visions into reality as they work together.
Uranus is now at 26 degrees Taurus 20’, very close to the malefic fixed star, Algol, and moves to 28 degrees 4’ by the end of May. This can bring about difficult situations and sudden chaotic shifts that can cause damage collectively and also personally if one has a planet close to that degree. Algol represents the severed head of Medusa, so there’s that image and energy associated with it. I’ll just leave that image there.
Neptune moves from 1 degree, 6’ of Aries to 1 degree 51’ of Aries throughout the month. Neptune was last in Aries in 1861 during the US civil war, which on one level was a shift into an idealistic vision. To quote the end of Lincoln’s Gettysburg address, “that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom–and that government, of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.” May it be so.
Pluto goes into its retrograde cycle on May 4th and moves from 3 degrees 48’ to 3 degrees 39’. Essentially Pluto is stationed the entire month and is therefore very powerful. Pluto is about power and transformation but he takes one to the hell realm before you get to the transformation part. Pluto does not go back into Capricorn, just back to 1 degree, 21’ of Aquarius in mid-October.
All the outer planets are very powerful this month which can indicate big changes worldwide. The sands are shifting without a doubt. I am keeping a positive outlook for the future, in spite of the clusterf@*k happening in the US. The last line of the Gettysburg address states, “that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom–and that government, of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.” May it be so.

Gemini — May 21-June 21: Jupiter is in your sign and beyond the degree it retrograded on in the fall of 2024 so you may be feeling like there’s the start of something new in the air for you. There definitely is if you are bold enough to birth it! With three planets and the north node in your solar 10th house of career you may be feeling a need to diversify your career or make a change in your employment. It could also mean you want to have more control in your work life so you have a better balance. Put that thought into action so you can attract a better situation in a timely fashion. The PM hours of the new Moon on the 26th, the 27th and the AM hours of the 28th are your best days.
Cancer — June 22-July 23: With Mars in Leo in your solar 2nd house and ruling your 10th house of career/profession you could be in a position to have a lot of work coming at you, as well as expenses to spend the money on. It’s always something, isn’t it! The Moon is in your sign for the first 2 days of the month so do something to treat yourself for being a good person. Cancer people are usually the most intuitive and generous people who willingly and lovingly take care of others, and even strangers can feel their warmth of character. This is a good month to spread that vibe, so don’t let the chaos of the current times deplete your nature. You have over four fortuitous days this month, as the 1st, 2nd, the PM hours of the 28th, the 29th and the AM hours of the 30th are your lucky days.
Leo — July 24-August 23: With transiting Mars in your sign all month you have charisma, energy and intense focus going for you. Your career should go well but there will be some unexpected changes coming up in the third week. Nothing to fear, just be ready to pivot to another activity or responsibility. Virgo — August 24-September 22: With three planets and the north node at the end of your solar 7th house of partnership, your partnership becomes a priority now. Pay attention to what your spouse or business partner says right now, as they are giving you big clues about how they see the future and you need to pay attention to the trends. There is also an interesting travel vibe happening in your solar 9th house right now and for the next few months. It’s not an immediate thing but you could be having some inspiration about where your next trip will be. Jupiter is in your solar 10th house so work and career should be going pretty well for the next 2 years. Your best days are the PM hours of the 5th, the 6th and the 7th.
Libra — September 23-October 22: This month also has a relationship vibe as Venus will be conjunct Neptune in Aries in the beginning of your solar 7th house with Saturn about to join the pair to solidify the situation. If you are in a committed relationship, there will be discussions about the new direction it will take. Joint finances are a part of the situation as Uranus and the Sun move through your solar 8th house of insurance, wills, legacies and investments. It might be time to really dig deeper into how all that works. The days of the 8th, 9th and AM hours of the 10th are your most auspicious days of the month.
Scorpio — October 23-November 22: With Mars, your ruling planet, in Leo squaring Scorpio and in your solar 10th house, there are changes coming in your career or profession and how you spend your time at work. It may be very busy right now if you position yourself correctly. Find a need and fill it are words to live by. You also need to pay attention to your health and engage in activities that strengthen your body and overall well-being. Make changes that will benefit your health and your work life will also improve. Your best days are the PM hours of the 10th, the 11th and the full Moon on the 12th.
Sagittarius — November 23-December 20: With Jupiter in Gemini, your opposition sign, there’s a scattering of energy in too many directions that can be fun but may not have the best return on investment for you. If you are interested in relationship, Venus and Mars in fellow fire signs are making a trine relationship and Venus is in your stellar 5th house giving you possible opportunities if you put yourself out there. Capricorn — December 21-January 20: With Saturn at the last few degrees of Pisces but about to enter Aries on May 25th, you are at a sea change for the rest of the year. Yes, Saturn dips his toe into Aries, giving you a clue on the direction shift coming but it doesn’t truly come to fruition until February of 2026. This could also include a change of residence as Saturn and Neptune will be at the beginning of your solar 4th house of home, ancestors, real estate and family. Let yourself be guided about the timing in 2026, but you can at least follow the cosmic cues along the way. Your stellar days are the PM hours of the 15th, 16th and 17th.
Aquarius — January 21-February 19: With Saturn, your ruling planet, moving into Aries at the last week of the month in your solar 3rd house of siblings, neighbors, skills and communication you have some interesting connections coming up as the 3rd house is relatively benign and somewhat fun as well! Mars in Leo in your solar 7th house can make your spouse irritable or demanding so you’ll have to deal with that as well as Pluto stationing in your 1st house can make you demanding as well! Have fun with that! Your best days are the 18th and 19th.
Pisces — February 20-March 20: With Jupiter transiting the last 9 degrees of Gemini you are entering some new territory when it enters your solar 5th house in early June. Time to spend some time with your children or get involved in a new creative project. Also, Uranus will enter your solar 4th house in July which could prompt a move or the consideration of a move over the next year. Start getting used to the idea and looking for a place that would suit you. If you don’t embrace a Uranus transit by being proactive, it will choose the time of your move for you. Pay attention. Your lucky days are the 20th and 21st.
