Weekly Astrology Forecast — Jun 4, 2018 – Jun 10, 2018:

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Jun 4, 2018 – Jun 10, 2018:

This week starts on Monday, with the Moon in insightful, progressive and innovative Aquarius, trining the Sun in clever, curious and playful Gemini.  The Moon in Aquarius is about being innovative and thinking outside the box. You may encounter some very opinionated people during this time, or you may find yourself getting a little more rigid about your own progressive ideas.

It’s a good time to think about marching to the beat of your own drum, but try to tone down any inclination to be rebellious or defiant. This shouldn’t be too hard, since the trine to the Sun is cooperative and conciliatory. However the Moon goes void of course in the early morning hours and remains that way for the remainder of the day. The void of course Moon can see you feeling aimless or adrift in a sea of uncertainty, but since it’s in Aquarius you’ll no doubt run out of interesting things to ponder.

On Tuesday, the Sun and Mercury both form an inconjunct ion with Jupiter.  Although their exact conjunction doesn’t occur until Wednesday, the combined interaction with Jupiter pulls them together in a planetary picture. As Mercury and Jupiter are natural polarities, there’s a tendency to struggle with indecision, uncertainty, or absent-mindedness when these two planets are not in harmony.

With respect to the current transits, you want to make sure you have all the facts before you arrive at a decision, hold off on making promises that you might not be able to keep, and in general get clear about what you believe in before you start preaching your beliefs to others. The upside of this transit is that it forces you to reevaluate what you do stand for and to make whatever adjustments are necessary to accommodate changing ideals.

Miscommunications can lead to problems in your relationships on Wednesday, when Mercury squares Neptune and Venus opposes Pluto. The Mercury / Neptune square can manifest as confusion, uncertainty, suspicion and doubt. It’s not the best time to sign contracts or lay down any concrete plans. It’s best used for tapping into our creative potential. For dreaming, visualizing and conceptualizing.

However, this aspect can also indicate misunderstandings, and if so can lead lead to major relationship conflicts, courtesy of Venus opposing Pluto. The Venus / Pluto opposition can bring relationship tensions to a head and force you to deal with them. Problems that have been simmering beneath the surface can erupt into confrontations, and see you and a loved one at opposite sides of the fence.

This is not the time to deliver an ultimatum or back someone into a corner. This transit can be volatile and can lead to actions and decisions that can’t be taken back later. Choose your relationship battles wisely during this time — or better yet choose not to do battle at all.

The Sun squares Neptune on Thursday; this aspect may see you feeling unsure about yourself and questioning your own self-worth as well as how you may be perceived by others. This aspect can manifest as insecurity, self-doubts, and hypersensitivity to criticism.

You may be struggling to figure out who you really are and what you really stand for. The Sun / Neptune square can cloud your vision, especially with respect to your identity (the Sun). Don’t fall into the trap of comparing yourself to others, or looking for ways to emulate them.

On Friday, Mercury inconjuncts Pluto. This aspect can make it a little harder to keep intrusive thoughts at bay. This also goes for the people in your life, who may seem defensive, obsessive or paranoid during this time. Mercury / Pluto is excellent for ferreting out hidden information, but you may need to adjust your dial.

The weekend’s transits are relatively uneventful. but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing going on. Still you may want to take it easy and even rest up if possible, because next week is quite active. We’ll have a New Moon in Gemini, two planets (Mercury and Venus) changing signs, and Neptune getting ready to turn retrograde.

That’s it for this week; see you next week!
