Ace of Wands

Today the Sun and Mercury move into Leo, shifting the focus from accessing our feelings and emotions to taking charge of our lives and making our goals a reality.

The Ace of Wands — this version from Nathalie Hertz’s gorgeous Fantastical Tarot — is all about manifesting your dreams and desires. Taking your life in your own hands. Following your Bliss. And going after your goals with the kind of gusto that makes saying “Yes!” an absolute rather than a maybe.

It’s about increased confidence, drive and enthusiasm. Ardor. Vitality. Passion. Creativity. Power. Potential.

The Wand in this card is a pillar of strength. The intricate dragon carvings suggest a sort of magical essence that is very much a part of the Ace of Wands. And there’s beauty and creativity present here as well. The vines and wildflowers springing up from its base reminds us that this card is less about might and more about merriment.

The birds flying in from the distance tell us that there may be messages coming our way. These aren’t always tangible (as in a verbal or written message). But can be gathered from our surroundings and applied just as powerfully.

The Ace of Wands is all about inspiration and potential. It invites you to ask yourself what you really want that you haven’t (up to now) put your whole heart and soul into? And what are the chances of making it a reality unless you do? This energy is about offering your intentions up to the Universe with every reason to believe you will be rewarded for doing so. With this in mind, it’s time to push all negativity aside and replace it with optimism and inspiration. If you’re truly serious about manifesting your desires, there is no time like the present to do it.

Free Daily Tarotscope — May 18, 2015 — Ace of Pentacles

Ace of Pentacles

Ace of Pentacles

Today’s New Moon in Taurus marks the beginning of a new financial cycle. As Taurus rules the 2nd (money) house and is associated with stability and security, it’s a good time to start saving money and planning for your future.

The good news is that the Ace of Pentacles means money is coming in. It may me small amounts of money, but those can be pooled together, invested or put to good use and grow over time.

The Ace of Pentacles represents the start of something new, in this case new financial opportunities. It’ speaks of manifesting your goals through hard work, dedication and perseverance.

You may be in line for a raise or promotion, or you could learn of job opportunity that involves a bigger salary. You could also be the benefactor of someone else’s generosity. Either way, you should have more opportunities and more financial resources at your disposal than you’ve had in recent days.

You may also feel that your luck is changing. As the Ace of Pentacles is associated with a positive change in fortune. It’s telling you to keep up the good work, to go after your dreams, and to be open to all that the Universe has to offer you.

The Sunflowers in this version of the card — from Nathalie Hertz’s gorgeous Fantastical Tarot — represent abundance, longevity, fertility and fortune. The Dragon represents strength, power and luck.

The Ace of Pentacles says money is coming your way today so be ready to make the most of it. You may not see a windfall, but it’s still a positive affirmation that you’re putting your energy into the right areas.

With that in mind, it also serves to remind you of the importance of staying grounded and focused while you put your plans in motion. You can be confident in the knowledge that fortune is smiling upon you with today, and while that doesn’t mean you should be foolish with your money, you should have more of it than usual to work with.

Free Daily Tarotscope — Dec 31, 2014 — Four of Wands

Four of Wands

Four of Wands

If you look back over the past year what would your greatest accomplishment be?

This image shows your imagination running away with you and perhaps there is something that was left out for you in 2014 that you wish to carry over to 2015.

Do not be concerned that you have failed in any way as the timing may have been that you laid down the groundwork for your dream over this last year and next year you can release you dream.

The garden (your plan) is well tended. You have laid out some very impressive groundwork in getting yourself started. The four pillars are lined with symbols of growth alongside the green beacons which further shine for you and give you inspiration.

The hill in the background is vividly green even under the light of a full moon at night and this implies that you will find the answers you seek for you plan without much need for more searching.

Help will come to you and that help will be both inspirational and practical. If nothing else today you should enjoy yourself and let your imagination soar. You may have put down the practicalities of the groundwork you need for your goals but what you seek for your next step is not so practical.

Like the Unicorn in this image it may require a little magical thinking alongside a wish or two.

Keep this in mind if you are tempted to rush into action today as sitting back and daydreaming may get your further than anything else you could possibly do today.

Free Daily Tarotscope — Mar 10, 2014 — Two of Wands

Two of Wands

Two of Wands

The Two of Wands — like all Twos — refers to taking the spark of an idea (seen in the Aces) and forming it into a tangible, working plan.

This requires looking at it from all angles — weighing the pros and cons, evaluating time and energy, separating the wheat from the chaff and so on. This is beautifully represented in the imagery depicted on this version of the card.

Here we see two leopards — one dark and one light — each standing watch by their own ornate pillars. The dark leopard is an exact mirror image of the light. Their sleek bodies curve toward one another and become “one,” reminding us of the power of uniting opposing forces to make one stronger entity. The Sun shines high in the sky between them.

The key here is balance: you won’t be able to make something happen without careful consideration and planning. And all the planning in the world won’t cause your ideas to materialize without putting in the effort.

There’s a certain give and take with the Two of Wands (as with all Twos in the tarot) that is mirrored right back to you. There’s also a need for discrimination — throwing out the unrealistic or half-baked ideas and focusing on what has a genuine shot at being successful. The Two of Wands requires you to be objective and this is why it’s always wise to bounce your ideas off of another.
