Ten of Cups

ARIES: Ten of Cups

This month you want to remember to count your blessings, knowing that you’ve come to a place in your life where you’re aware of what (and whom) truly matters most.

The Ten of Cups tells you that you’ve achieved something worth acknowledging and celebrating, as seen in the imagery of this card. It represents fulfillment and security; a solid foundation of abundance and prosperity, and the sense that you have built something you can take pride in.

This extends well beyond financial or material security. It’s more about family, lasting friendships and a sense of comfort — in your home and your community — surrounded by people you love.

In this version of the card, from the Morgan Greer Tarot, we see two strong arms — a man’s and a woman’s — lifting a golden chalice up in a show of harmony and unity.

A colorful rainbow pours into the chalice, while nine more cups are lined up like a staircase behind them, reminding us of the steps that have been taken to lead us to where we are today. The landscape behind them is serene and peaceful, with lush verdant hillsides and trees. Even the surface of the water is calm.

The Ten of Cups is all about embracing all you’ve established through your connections and interactions with others. It’s about happiness and security in the areas that matter most — with family, friends and loved ones.

This is not the time to think about what is lacking in your life but rather what makes it complete. And while you don’t want to be resting on your laurels, it’s important to acknowledge those who are most important to you and who keep your cup continuously full.

Wealth

Wealth

Today is a good day to be thinking about your future, especially with respect to your security and financial stability.

The Wealth card — the Vision Quest Tarot’s version of the Ten of Pentacles — is about building your empire, on whatever scale that might be.

It’s about achieving success through hard work and determination, as well as the satisfaction that comes with knowing that it’s all going to pay off in the end. Not just for you but for family and loved ones, as this card is also about creating a legacy that can be built on for generations to come.

The “pentacles” in this version are ten intricately woven baskets, displayed alongside a bountiful harvest of summer fruits and winter vegetables. These are seen as a reminder of the importance of both appreciating what you have now and planning toward the future.

The greens and golds so prominent in this card are also significant. These are the colors associated with wealth, prosperity and abundance. Notice how the baskets are fashioned in the shape of a human form, lifted up on plentiful hills of grain — the earth’s most sustainable resource.

The Ten of Pentacles is about establishing a lasting legacy for yourself and your loved ones. It’s about enjoying and appreciating what you have while planning ahead for the future.

No matter how successful you are there’s always more to be done, especially as it pertains to creating something that will live on long after you’re gone. You may be thinking of starting a family or putting money aside for children you already have.

You could also be in the process of giving birth to something else — a business, a creative endeavor or a body of work. Whatever it is, know that this is something you want to be proud of, so put the extra energy into making sure you do it right.

In this version of the card a pair of hands reach out toward the planet earth — representing openness and readiness to partake in all of the riches the Universe has to offer.

The hands are a reminder of the give and take that is such a necessary part of achieving success, as we all know that no one gets their alone. Notice how the earth’s energy field / aura glows where the hands touch it.

The words “abundance” and “prosperity” are written on the card, with the word “be” stamped on the palm of one hand and a coin in the other. These are reminders that fulfillment comes from not just monetary gain but also community and global support.

Free Daily Tarotscope — Dec 25, 2014 — Ten of Pentacles

Ten of Pentacles

 Ten of Pentacles

There is a sense of abundance around today with the Ten of Pentacles — from the Hanson-Roberts Tarot — as today’s card. Families join together to celebrate. Gifts are passed around and there is plenty for all.

The Ten of Pentacles is a card of riches. If you are thinking to change your job or are in line for a promotion this is a great day to be cementing those thoughts in your own mind and looking at ways you can take yourself forward career or money wise.

Mercury also comes into close contact with Pluto today so don’t discount any thoughts you have or words that are said to you no matter how small they may be. Pluto is the planet of transformation so from those thoughts or words big changes may come.

There is a sense of solidarity within this image as if everything and everyone has their place yet all look happy and comfortable within their roles and all is as it should be. No one is left out. No one is giving or receiving more than they are comfortable with.

Relationships take on a sense of balance and stability whilst communication takes on a sense of understanding. This is a great day to be heard and whilst your words may be small they will carry such power that they will also go a long way.

The changes may not be apparent for some time but changes will come. If you are not communicating with another person and you are mulling thoughts over in your own mind take note of those thoughts as they have the capacity and greatness to turn into larger plans in the coming weeks.

Whilst some thoughts start out small they can grow with such power that they take you far. Be careful what you think today because today is a day of greatness.

Ten of Pentacles

Ten of Pentacles

You have the knowledge and power to do as you wish today.

The Ten of Pentacles is about money, success and acquiring that which you desire.

The lovely flowing rhythm to this Ten of Pentacles implies that all is well for you in this regard and finances are flowing in an abundant direction.

You ride on the tail of the dragon and where you sit looks pretty comfortable and nothing is going to topple you off. All is around you for the taking.

As you relax and survey your surroundings from this viewpoint you also have in your lap an orange ball. The colour orange is linked to the second chakra from which creativity springs.

As you hold it in your left hand you are drawing towards yourself the very talents you need to let loose to enjoy success.

Your right hand is open wide as if you are reaching for the pentacle in the centre of the card yet you do not need to overexert yourself as you know the pentacle shall come to you as success is assured.

The dragon that you sit on also gives a sense of kundalini energy coursing through you and as it reaches its zenith all that you need to know is revealed.

August 2014 Tarot Scopes featuring the Star Tarot

Aries:  Strength

If you find yourself needing to draw on inner strength this month or gain help from those around you then don’t be afraid to ask.

You are not alone and you have plenty of resources to help you along your path. Even though you cannot see the final outcome you have an inner “knowingness” to help you on your way.

As the month progresses you should be feeling the changes around you as you seem to shed your skin and grow a new one… meaning… the changes you implement around you in your environment are coming from within and yourself as opposed to outside forces.

If there is a relationship you feel has outgrown its purpose and has been holding you back then you are well and truly on the road to releasing yourself from its clutches and what’s more you have the strength and resources to back you up.

Reach out to anyone you think may be of help to you now as you start your new cycle.

The moon in the background of this card may seem to be either in its first or last quarter or if you look at it again it could even be seen as an eclipse… and eclipses mean change!

Free Daily Tarotscope — July 17, 2014 — Ten of Disks

Ten of Disks

Ten of Disks

Today you want to be counting your blessings and recognizing all of the hard work — including that of those who have helped you along the way — that has gotten you to where you are today.

The Ten of Disks refers to that level of accomplishment that has been built up over time. It’s a card of community, hospitality and stability that carries on from one generation to the next.

Many versions of this card depict — in addition to the ten prominent gold pentacles — a homestead, generations of a family (including the family pets) and a lust abundant surroundings. These are all important references to concept of security that is built up over time.

The Ten of Disks is called “Wealth” in some decks. But remember that wealth is relative, and no one gets there alone.

The Ten Disks in this card are placed in the ten Sephira that make up the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. The Symbol for each disk is associated with its corresponding planet: The Sun at the center (Tiphareth), the Moon at the Foundation (Yesod) and Earth representing the Kingdom (Malkuth). The planets themselves are placed in the columns on either side.

A rainbow of rays emanate from each disk: for example an astrological chart emanating from Malkuth and Kircher’s 72 names of God emanating from Kether.

April 2014 Tarot Scopes featuring the Dream Raven Tarot

ARIES: Queen of Wands

You may look calm and peaceful on the outside as if you hold the secret to the pyramids within you and could endure anything.

But just look at those flames flickering at the end of each wing… almost as if you are ready to “take off” or launch into a blazing mood which comes from nowhere.

This is a time to sit back and weigh up your options without the distraction of others and what they think, say or do.

Keep your own counsel and act accordingly with what is right for you. You have your eye on the outcome and know how to achieve it.

Notice how the bird in this card keeps her eye on the dragonfly… she is not about to let anything get in her way or dissuade her from the course she has chosen.

You have the energy within you to make your dreams come true… wish wisely and don’t waste your time and energy on the mundane.

Ten of Pentacles

Ten of Pentacles

Today it’s all about building upon what you already have and making it work for you.

It is an excellent time to make a career move and if you are thinking of doing so then aim high!

The road before you is smooth and even with, perhaps, more options than you think.

Look for new areas of growth that can further your advancement but may not be obvious when you first look at the options laid out in front of you.

There is a solid and familiar feel to what you are aiming for and as you move towards it your dreams and ambitions become clearer.

The 10 of pentacles is beautifully depicted in this card with the path (the journey) leading up to the grand building (the destination) in a clear, smooth path.

Overlapping across the path are branches of trees bursting with new growth (new ideas).

Be open to what comes to you and your path will be smooth towards your ultimate goal.
