March begins with a waxing Moon in Leo, approaching the full Moon total eclipse degree of 12 degrees 54’ of Virgo on March 3rd. It should be visible through most of the country with a reddish color, hence the name “blood moon” moniker in the early hours on Tuesday, depending on your time zone.

The Sun, Mercury retrograde and Venus are also in Pisces at this time with Mars about to join them on March 2, 2026. That lineup will make for a bit of a confusing time as the Sun and hot, dry Mars don’t function well in the cold, passive, water sign and neither does Mercury, who is in its retrograde period until March 20th.

Venus, however, loves to be in her exaltation sign, where she will remain until March 5, after which she enters the sign of Aries, an active, masculine, fire sign. So, most of the above-mentioned planets are not particularly well placed this month. This may contribute to the strange vibes or misguided energies in the first couple of weeks.

Jupiter goes direct on March 11 at 15 degrees 14’ of Cancer, his exaltation sign, which should help clarify matters and administer justice as it will be in a trine relationship with the Pisces planets. Saturn, who is still conjunct Neptune in the early degrees of Aries, moves away from Neptune by the end of the month to 5 degrees, 29’ of Aries. Venus pairs up with this duo between March 6th and the 10th as she then moves beyond their influence. The arts can make a valuable contribution to the world at that time.

February begins with a full Moon on the first, the Snow Moon as it is called.

It is also the pagan fire festival of Imbolc, celebrating the middle of the winter season, 7th which is also known as St. Brigid’s day, who is the patroness saint of Ireland.

This full Moon has a bit of a malefic quality, as the part of the sky it occurs in is associated with rather destructive behaviors which I covered yesterday in my email about the full Moon.

It is a great time to attack your own bad habits and make the necessary changes internally to move into a better space to embrace change.  It’s in the fire sign of Leo so make a list of what you want to be rid of and burn it as a ritual on the night of the full Moon.  I do not recommend charging crystals during this particular full Moon, however, as why risk inviting bad juju into your stones?

Welcome to the New Year of 2026, a 1 year in numerology which indicates a new beginning! Astrology supports that cycle as 3 outer planets and Saturn will all be in new fire and air signs.

Change is happening, folks, so get ready for a bit of a whirlwind come March and April when Neptune, Saturn, Venus are in Aries in March and then Mercury and Mars take spin in Aries in April.

Uranus re-enters Gemini at the end of April as another harbinger of a shake up of big proportions. Uranus in Gemini forms a nice air trine relationship with Pluto in Aquarius, accelerating the change.

Fire and Air are the elements most prevalent for 2026 and we all know what air can do to fire, it feeds the flames for change and new beginnings!

Yes, Jupiter is retrograde in the water sign of Cancer, where he is exalted but I see this as a more protective influence in the midst of change. Cancer is about security related to home, family, values, contentment and emotional bonding. Jupiter expands what it touches so you will see many people resisting or being fearful about the changes happening all around them. If you need to slow down to take your time and assimilate what is happening and how it relates to you, definitely do so. Take the steps you need to protect your assets and your loved ones.

We begin the last month of 2025 with both Mercury and Saturn in direct motion (yay!) and Neptune’s retrograde period soon to end on December 10th. He is basically stuck on the 29th degree of Pisces for the rest of the year and for the first 3 weeks of the new year, 2026.

We have a very powerful full Moon on December 19 at 28 degrees of Sagittarius, the 3rd full moon in a row to happen at the 28th degree and three more to follow in 2026. I’ve never seen six consecutive months of lunation at the same degree before! To me it reinforces the theme of closure happening with the outer planets and Saturn, all going into new signs next month.

Although Pluto has been in Aquarius for about a year now, he is only recently finishing his transit of the 1st degree of Aquarius with his theme of closure and ultimate transformation. He moves to the 2nd degree the day after the new Moon at 13 degrees of Gemini on December 4th. It should be interesting as it unfolds.

Both Saturn and Neptune are very powerful all month because of their slow movement forward. Mercury’s power is still very strong through December 11th before it slips into the sign of Sagittarius, where the little dude is considered in detriment as Sag is opposite Gemini, a sign Mercury rules. Secrets will still be uncovered during this time and Saturn will demand some kind of correction for any wrong actions basically since April when he first transited the 25th degree of Pisces earlier in the year.

We have some interesting planetary direction changes this month beginning with everyone’s favorite, a Mercury retrograde on November 9 through November 29 at 6 degrees, 52’ of Sagittarius and going back to 20 degrees, 45’ of Scorpio.

It’s actually a relatively short one, only 20 days as they are usually about 23 days on average. It means the little dude is traveling quite close to the earth’s position during this time. I suspect that lies told during the last 10 days of October will be revealed with receipts when the retrograde is over.

Next comes Jupiter, the expansive gas bag of the zodiac, and he will go retrograde on November 11 at 25 degrees, 9’ of Cancer and retro back to 24 degrees 33’ by month’s end. So, essentially, he is hovering around the 24/25 degree mark of Cancer all month.

This can be fortunate for the people who have planets in the sign of Cancer or the other water signs, Pisces and Scorpio around those degrees. You just have to be aware that a big weight gain is on the way if you don’t monitor your intake during the holidays. You will feel very self-indulgent all month and into the first half of December.

Then, Saturn ends his retrograde period on November 28 at 25 degrees 9’ of Pisces. Momentum will pick up in December and you will feel more motivated about creating a new future for yourself. 2026 is a new beginning when Saturn enters Aries along with Neptune.

We have entered the month with two annular eclipses and the Autumnal Equinox on September 22. The first full Moon (the blood moon) total Lunar eclipse is on September 7th at 15th degree of the Virgo/Pisces axis. It is totally visible in Asia and western Australia and partially visible in eastern Australia and Europe but not visible in the United States.

The second eclipse is a new Moon partial Solar eclipse on September 21 at 29 degrees of Virgo and is opposite Saturn retrograde at 28 degrees Pisces and Neptune at 0 degrees Aries. This opposition at 28/29 degrees of Pisces/Virgo signifies the closing of a chapter. This aspect with those two planets and an eclipse can mean that there will be a change of guard in some country or the passing of a king/leader.

We also have 3 personal planets changing signs this month with Mercury moving into Virgo on September 2 and making a conjunction with the Sun on September 13, forming the relatively short “cazimi aspect” where Mercury is within 15’ on either side of the Sun and is said to have the ear of the king (the Sun) before he moves away from the Sun’s rays but back into combustion for about 5 days. Watch for hidden information coming to light at that time and trust your intuition to know what to do.
Then the little dude moves into Libra on September 18 and Venus moves from 8 degrees of Leo into Virgo on the 19th of September.

We begin the month with Mercury retrograde at 8° Leo and moving back to 4° through August 11th. In addition, the outer planets of Pluto at 2° Aquarius and Neptune at 1° Aries and Saturn there, too, are also in retrograde motion. Uranus turns retro in early September 6th at 1° Gemini so it is basically stationing later this month and gaining power.

While Uranus is in good aspects with those planets mentioned above, there are big changes brewing this month but the first ten days remains relatively quiet. There is much more upheaval after the full Moon on August 9 when the Moon is in the same sign as Pluto and Mars enters Libra opposing Saturn and Neptune in Aries. That aspect triggers a lot of anger and upheaval in the world and even more so after the 11th when Mercury turns direct at 4 degrees Leo. People are pissed and it is a troubled time.

On a positive note, Venus will be conjunct Jupiter on the 12th and 13th at 13 and 14 degrees of Cancer. This has a protective vibe to it where people may start to be more caring and concerned about security for themselves but also take action to help others.

During the last half of August, we have a new Moon at 1 degree of Virgo on August 22 or the 23rd, depending on your time zone, which creates a 90 degree square aspect to that powerfully stationed Uranus at 1 degree of Gemini. This hard aspect often portends an unexpected event that changes things dramatically.

This month will begin with some startling surprises and a few twists turns along the way as 3 planets begin their retrograde periods this month and Venus will be conjunct Uranus on July 4th, which can be a very unexpected and wild set of circumstances. They are both close to the constellation Pleiades, also known as the Weeping Sisters, so there is a symbology of sadness surrounding that part of cosmic real estate.

The Moon is also in a long Void of Course period beginning in the afternoon of July 2th, through the 3rd and ends in the wee hours of the 4th when the Moon then enters Scorpio, the sign of its fall. I wouldn’t expect an upbeat celebration this weekend; it is just not the time for it. Void of Course just means the Moon makes no aspects to any of the planets so things tend not to work out or they just flounder during the void period.

This particular void is a long one, about 36 hours, but many are just a few hours or even less, so you’ve been through voids many times. Take things in stride and don’t try to make something happen as it won’t really work out the way you want it to. In fact, do less not more.

Mercury does its retrograde dance between July 18 and August 10, moving from 15 degrees of Leo to 9 degrees where it stations. Per usual Mercury Rx dictum, don’t sign leases or contracts and don’t buy expensive items or technology items during the Mercury Rx period.

The month begins with several significant conjunctions between planets, an asteroid and the luminaries.

In order of zodiac signs, we have Saturn at 0° Aries 31’ conjunct Neptune at 1° Aries 52’ ; Venus conjunct Chiron at 25° Aries; the Sun at 11° Gemini 7’ conjunct Mercury at 13° Gemini 49’; and the Moon at 20° Leo 9’ conjunct Mars at 21° Leo 15’.

The majority of planets are clustered between the signs of Aries and Leo, with Pluto retrograde the outlier at 3° Aquarius.

So, there is a blending of energies happening at the beginning of June, which can intensify certain experiences for people with natal planets around those degrees. Jupiter is at 28° Gemini and Uranus is at 28° Taurus to round out the placements of the planets.

Most significant in the cosmic energy dance is the entry of Saturn into the sign of Aries and its blending with Neptune, who entered that sign two months ago on March 30, 2025. While Neptune’s vibe is very ethereal, mystical and imaginative, Saturn’s vibe is reality-based, practical and solution-oriented so we have pretty divergent vibes blending together. Saturn provides a grounded approach to those nebulous energies of Neptune in order to bring ideas, concepts and dreams into earth-based reality, but it takes discipline and work to do that. Saturn hasn’t been in Aries since 1996-1998 and Neptune hasn’t been there since 1861-1875.

Happy Beltane/May Day! This month begins with lovely Venus conjunct Neptune at the 1st degree of Aries, which feels auspicious to me. It is a day to enjoy life’s beautiful moments, and I plan to stretch it out for at least three days!

I had three lovely yellow roses bloom today as if on cue! Venus is blazing in the early morning hours before sunrise in the east but to see Neptune you need a telescope.

If you are an early riser, do catch a glimpse of the beauty of Venus rising before the Sun.

Mercury also rises before the Sun but is less than 30 degrees away and very hard to see in the early morning sky. Mercury is at 16° Aries and moves to 11° Gemini throughout the month.

Venus moves from 0 degrees 24’ of Aries to 24 degrees of Aries this month where she is conjunct Chiron, the wounded healer, at month’s end. One could have some old wounds come up at that time, particularly around relationship issues.

Mars, firmly in fiery Leo now, is about to move beyond the degree he retrograded on in early December. He moves from 5 degrees, 46’ through 20 degrees 47’ of Leo. Mars can be blustery and assertive in Leo but Leo likes to be generous so there’s that. Mars is in Leo and will be in a trine relationship with Venus in Aries, so there may be some romance in the air for the fire signs this month. If you are looking, put yourself out there.

We are still in the shadow of the two eclipses in March and most of the planets are relatively close to the same places they were then so I expect more strangeness through around April 18th when Saturn and Venus in Pisces will be conjunct the north node and sextile to Uranus conjunct the fixed star, Algol, in Taurus.

To me it is kind of a breaking point and the energy feels like the scene from the movie Moonstruck, when Cher slaps Nicholas Cage and yells at him to “snap out of it”!

Mercury goes direct on April 7th at 27° Pisces, its sign of debilitation, and moves into Aries on April 16th where it will conjunct Neptune for a day or so and then immediately start moving forward away from that illusion/delusion energy on the 17th.

This will bring more clarity about “reality” and a desire for action. It gets to 14 degrees of Aries by April 30th. Mercury in Aries is sharp, quick, and likes to get on with it; no more dilly-dallying allowed.

Venus is still retrograde until April 12, which is also the day of the full Moon in Libra, a Venus-ruled sign. She stations and goes direct at 24 degrees of Pisces. This degree is within minutes of the total lunar eclipse degree on March 14th, thereby activating that energy again. She moves through the last degree of Pisces on April 30th. Pisces is her sign of exaltation, though she does get a reality check from a conjunction with Saturn, basically all month. They are friends and Saturn can keep a rein on Venus’ love of luxury and tendency to spend a lot of money and overindulge. In that respect, it is a good match and can serve one well during these uncertain and financially volatile times.
