Weekly Astro Forecast — Sept 18, 2016 – Sept 24, 2016

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Sept 18, 2016 – Sept 24, 2016:

Coming on the heels of last week’s stressful planetary activity, this week starts with one somewhat difficult aspect — a Venus / Uranus opposition — and then follow up with a few more favorable transits through the remainder of the week.

Weekly Astro Forecast — Sept 11, 2016 – Sept 17, 2016

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Sept 11, 2016 – Sept 17, 2016:

We’ve got a busy and somewhat volatile week ahead of us, with the personal planets all interacting with one another — for better or worse — as well as a Full Moon / Lunar Eclipse.

We start with a Venus Pluto square on Sunday. This can be a stressful aspect as far as relationships are concerned, especially if there’s been tension brewing for you and your partner / love interest in recent weeks. Venus and Pluto in hard aspect can intensify emotional responses and is known to produce some very unsavory reactions. Like jealousy, obsession, suspicion and paranoia.

Weekly Astro Forecast — Sept 4, 2016 – Sept 10, 2016

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of September 4, 2016 – September 10, 2016:

We start the week with the Sun conjuncting the North Node at 12° Virgo on Sunday.  This aspect can bring someone new into your life who turns out to play a meaningful role. Particularly in terms of self-actualization or individuation. As the Nodes are said to be karmic in nature, this person may not be “new” at all, but have strong past life ties.

The Sun/ North Node contact can also describe a change in direction as far as your social relationships are concerned. Aligning yourself with a different group of people or inviting new friends into your circle for example.

Four of Cups

ARIES: Four of Cups

This month you may feel like you are in a world of your own making and not willing to come out of it for anyone or anything.

No matter how good an offer is that is made to you you prefer to stay within your own little world and not make any plans or moves just yet. The Four of Cups — this version from the fabulous Ceccoli Tarot — is about boredom, melancholy and complacency, all of which are aptly depicted here.

This is not a bad place to be as it gives you time to sit back and survey and contemplate what is around for you and also as you are making yourself scarce from others, it inadvertently puts you in a position where you can perhaps command more than you have received in the past.

You actually know what you want. Notice you have your eyes on the nautilus shell (or is it a snail’s shell?) which is at the moment beyond your reach.

You may have desired this for a long time and not known how to attain it. If there is something in your life that you have been wanting for a long time and it has not shown up use this month to come up with ways to bring it into your life.

The bubble that you sit in shows that you are quite happy where you are but you may need to upset that balance, for a while anyway, to actually make your dreams come true.

Venus in Libra — Aug 30, 2016 — Sept 23, 2016

Venus enters Libra on August 30, 2016 at 2:06 UT (August 29 at 10:06pm EDT).

Venus is Libra’s natural ruler, and is thus happiest and most comfortable there (along with Taurus, the sign it co-rules, and Pisces, the sign of its exaltation).

Venus in Libra is all about peace, love and understanding. It’s about compromising and accommodating the needs of others, in order to preserve harmony and balance in our own lives.

This extends to relationships of course, as Venus is the “love” planet and Libra is the relationship and partnership sign.

When Venus enters Libra, relationship issues come to the forefront, no matter what sign it’s in in our own natal charts.

We find ourselves dealing with relationship issues, which come to the forefront at this time and provide us with the opportunity to work out the kinks in them.

While this most often refers to romantic relationships, it can extend to business partnerships as well.

As Libra is related to balance and harmony, the idea is to find some middle ground where you and your partner can meet. It’s about give and take, compromise, cooperating and sharing.

Weekly Astro Forecast — August 21, 2016 – August 27, 2016

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of August 21, 2016 – August 27, 2016:

This week is loaded with planetary activity, with the Sun changing signs and four major aspects completing before the week is through. We start with the Moon in Aries and the Sun at 29 Leo — an anaretic degree which is also conjunct the fixed star Regulus — on Sunday

Weekly Astro Forecast — August 14, 2016 – August 20, 2016

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of August 14, 2016 – August 20, 2016:

Love and relationship issues are at the forefront this week, with several Venus aspects taking center stage. We start with a Venus / Neptune opposition on Sunday. This can be a difficult aspect, with the planet representing love and beauty at odds with the planet that represents idealism and hope. And because Venus is in Virgo (the sign of its Fall) and Neptune is in Pisces (the sign it rules), Neptune is likely to prevail.

Weekly Astro Forecast — August 7, 2016 – August 13, 2016

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of August 7, 2016 – August 13, 2016:

This week starts on Sunday with quite a bit of planetary tension, featuring hard aspects between Mercury and Neptune, Mars and Venus, and the Sun and Pluto. Starting with Mercury and Neptune, an opposition between these two planets can make you susceptible to misunderstandings and self-deception.

Venus in Virgo — Aug 5, 2016 — Aug 29, 2016

Venus in Virgo: Mila Kunis

Venus enters Virgo on August 5, 2016 at 16:26 UT (11:26 am EDT). Venus is said to be debilitated in Virgo, as it is the sign opposite Venus’ natural Exaltation, Pisces.

There are some disadvantages to having a planet in “fall” or “detriment,” due more to societal norms and expectations than anything else. As such, Venus is not particularly comfortable in Virgo, where the naturally romantic, self-indulgent, partnership-oriented archetype struggles to express itself through the analytical, perfectionistic, service-oriented Virgo filter.

Even so, there are a lot of wonderfully unique attributes associated with this placement, as evidenced by some of the examples listed herein.

Venus is the “love” planet, representing how you give and receive love and affection, as well as what you find aesthetically appealing. What’s attractive to you? And how do you express love and affection?

Weekly Astro Forecast — July 31, 2016 – August 6, 2016

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of July 31, 2016 – August 6, 2016:

We start this week on Sunday, with Mars at the last degree of Scorpio as it prepares to move back into Sagittarius, where it went retrograde this past April. The 29th degree is referred to as an “anaretic degree,” which is said to be fated. As Mars co-rules Scorpio (along with Pluto) it’s said to be dignified there, and is made all the more powerful by its placement in Scorpio’s final degree.

Rebirth

ARIES: Rebirth

This month you should be presented with opportunities to look back over the strides you’ve made and the challenges you’ve faced in recent months as you begin a brand new cycle.

The young child in this card stands at the doorway between past and present. He still has an opportunity to look back behind him and clear up any unfinished business. But he has that same opportunity to venture forward and face a brand new world.

This is the Druid Craft Tarot’s version of the Judgment card. It’s the endless human journey that we sometimes refer to as “karma.” We reap and sew with each thought, action, and decision.

This card calls for self-evaluation and awareness, a need to develop enough spiritual altitude to look objectively at your mistakes and short-comings as well as your triumphs and victories.

It is a powerful reminder that in order to put the past behind us we must not only let go of prior judgments but heal the wounds that have been holding us back. It’s a card of both atonement and forgiveness. Of unconditional love, understanding and acceptance — for both ourselves and for those who’ve hurt us or let us down.

This card represents a summation of all that has come before, and an awareness that each step taken — from here on out — leaves an indelible imprint on our future. It represents a calling — a spiritual call to action, where the past meets the present and beckons you toward the future.
